I like this Homiguar insulated bottle enough that I bought a second one so I can take two protein drinks with me when I’ll be away from home for the day. I got the brushed silver finish, which is very attractive and stays surprisingly free of fingerprints. I especially like the fact that the bottle has no brand name splashed across it; I think the uncluttered silver finish gives it a more upscale appearance, if “upscale” can be applied to a protein drink mixer.I’ve found that the insulation really does keep the drinks at the same temperature I made them, even when I’ve left one sitting overnight; it’s reassuring that I don’t have to worry about spoilage, and I’ve never had a leak. I also liked the fact that the bottle came with both the plastic mixing ball and the metal one so I could decide which one worked better for me (I like the metal).One thing I want to mention has nothing to do with this specific blender, but it may help someone in my physical condition (rotten) decide whether to invest in one. When I started looking through the listings for a protein drink mixer, I had some concerns about how hard and how long I’d have to shake one to get the drink blended well; I have limited arm and hand strength. I contemplated the few battery-operated blenders but dismissed them after reading reviews that nearly unanimously stated they were inadequate; they all appeared to have the same mixing mechanism.My first attempt at mixing wasn’t auspicious, and I feared that I’d wasted money on something I wouldn’t be able to use. No matter how much I shook it, it wasn’t enough. My husband finished the job for me but stated that if it needed more shaking, I was on my own because he was “all shaked out.” The drink was fine, but I couldn’t very well expect him to shake every one I made (three a day per doctor’s orders or no surgery), and I contemplated returning it.Then I got the brainstorm of shaking it just a few times and letting it sit for a while before I mixed it again. I hoped that the powder would “melt” once it had gotten wet rather than turn into rocks. It worked beautifully. I found that if I shake it at three intervals, I’m sure to have a nice, smooth drink, with very little time actually spent on shaking. Sometimes I don't even actually shake the bottle; I just turn it up and down a few times, and the drink is fine as long as I do it three separate times. So arm strength doesn’t need to be a concern in mixing these drinks, and they don’t need to sit for very long between shaking sessions. I set mine on the counter and when I pass it again, I shake it a little more. It really couldn’t be more effortless. And this bottle is attractive enough that I don’t mind having it sit out all day.

I just had to review this, as it is the Best shaker bottle I have ever owned. The improvements in my quality of life(easy to clean, no protein smell, keeps drinks cold for several hours) far outweigh the small purchase price. Not long before buying this, I began noticing digestive distress after going to and leaving the gym. That I chalked up to my old blender bottle being made of plastic and over time getting ridges inside by which bacteria could grow. My hunch was right, and since buying this shaker, I'm home free!

This is a very nice blender bottle. Came with 2 shaker balls. The top screws on very tightly and even the flip cap lid screws on to ensure no leaks. Bright red color and texture is not slippery. Buying another soon!

Pros - Item as described. I can't find any fault with it yet and it seems like a really good quality product.Cons - The product listing I purchased uses the 'Homiguar' brand name. I can't find that name anywhere on the package or product I received. The package I received calls this a "TOOFEEL SHAKER". Stickers were placed over the box strategically to hide the "TOOFEEL SHAKER" branding. No extra instruction, warranty, or customer service papers or booklet was included in the box. The wording written on the box was clearly not written by a native English speaker.Conclusion - This is a quality product, but I feel that there was some really shady Chinese copycat or rebranding that went on behind the scenes, so I'm giving it a 1 star review. If you're a brand snob, give this product a pass. If you just want a highly functional shaker bottle, this one will certainly get the job done.

I bought this as a replacement for plastic blender bottle that I left at accidentally left at work over the weekend with a little bit of protein shake still it it. I could not get the rotten smell out of the plastic. That won't be a problem with this stainless steel shaker. I couldn't be more pleased!

Had high hopes that this would keep things cold or hot for a long time. It's better than a standard plastic shaker cup, but nothing impressive. The blender ball is very low quality - the ends are sharp and scrape the metal inside. I use a blender ball from another cup with this.The longer I look for The.Perfect.Cup., the more I head back to my lunchbox and thermos from the early 80s...

I loved everything about this shaker bottle and it would get 5 stars EXCEPT that it randomly leaks which is really annoying. I was so hopeful based on all the reviews. I will be returning it and continue my search for another insulated stainless shaker.

Let me preface this review, this particular item was purchased as a gift for someone that admired the one I use on a DAILY! I LOVE my stainless steel shaker.I purchased this black coated one as a gift. (I also received one as a Christmas gift). It so happens that both black coated shakers are difficult to close completely and they both leak. I am not sure if it is the coating that causes the issues maybe? I also purchased a Rose color for a friend and she had no issues with her shaker either. ??? I would purchase another but definitely not a coated unit.
