This review is for the ZMNT iPhone 7 battery with kit.The battery tests as 1973mAh not 2250 (I’m knocking one star off for that), but it’s fine for my iPhone 6s. It’s an iPhone 7 battery, but I put it in my 6s.The tools are tiny, but oddly perfect. I may only use them once, so I don’t need big, top quality tools. The screwdrivers get a good bite on the screw heads. I was surprised at how well they worked. Overall, a good purchase.

The battery is a definite improvement on my old battery. The only problem I had was the installation. After many attempts to attempt to open my phone, I finally took it to a repair person. He charge a small fee, but much cheaper than Apple!

The main problem with removing the iphone7 battery is initially prying the screen off. In order to do this, you need some kind of hard metal pry bar to break the waterproof seal. The kit doesn't include anything like that and I tried using the various plastic pry bars to no effect. I eventually used a large thick utility knife blade (big box cutter) to break in after trying an x-acto type knife (not strong enough to pry). You have to press the pointy end of the knife (wear gloves) into the crack between the metal case and screen to get it to separate. After that, you can use the plastic tools to work your way around the case without scratching it. I did scratch the case a bit trying various things. The kit also doesn't include a proper tri-head screwdriver, but the included phillips screwdriver will remove the battery connector screws with care. It was a bit dicey getting out one of the screws. It would have been better to just have the proper tool. The instructions were too generic and referenced iphone 5 &6 type instructions - really should provide a dedicated install manual if you're going to include one at all. The kit also doesn't include a replacement for the waterproof seal for iphone7. I ordered that elsewhere and I would say it is an absolute requirement that this seal be replaced and should be included with all battery replacement kits, but nobody seems to do this. You have to completely remove the 3 ribbon cables in order to fit the new gasket on. It takes some care to completely remove the old seal. Spent about 2 hours changing the battery and it appears to work fine.

Installed without any problems. Had bought a used iPhone 7 and wanted to just replace the battery (85% battery health). After replacing with the new one it's back to 100%. Lasts longer too. So far so good.

If you follow the included instructions for iPhone 7 you'll damage the display cable and have to replace the entire display, like me.The instructions say "open iPhone by swinging the home button end of the front panel assembly away from the rear case, using the top of the case as a hinge" and there is even a photo showing this.DO NOT DO THIS.That only works on the iPhone 6, the iPhone 7 needs to be opened using the right edge as a hinge. The only upside is I have already opened it all so replace the display will only add 5 minutes to reassembly...

I just installed this battery in my iPhone 7. It was nice having all the tools in the kit as I replaced the lightning port at the same time. I cannot review how long the battery will run but I am giving this product 3 stars due to the adhesive strips that hold the battery down were less than adequate. First their was only one strip and not two. The one that was included was not flat like it should be and had wrinkles in it.

I installed this battery in an iPhone 7. It wouldn't charge and remained on red and then would shut down. I contacted seller who got back to me immediately and said they'd replace the battery immediately, which was very encouraging. However, the replacement never arrived. tools are very poor quality and the instructions for the iPhone 7 are wrong. fortunately, there are plenty of good videos online. I bought another alternative that is excellent.

This replacement battery works great. Don't pay attention to all the bad reviews; they all seem to either not know how to install the device correctly, or they're rating it poorly because the tools provided are cheap. You can't expect top of the line tools that are meant to be a free addition to a battery worth $19.99. My previous battery lasted 2 hours on a full charge and now it works for the entire day. I use my phone a lot so I've been able to see a drastic difference between the two batteries. If you do not know how to disassemble your phone, search on youtube and you'll find a plethora of videos showing you how. All in all, it's a great battery and worked perfectly for me.
