The last three I purchased on Amazon were on the spool this one was not and I buy it as a double so that I have the spools to put my snippet rolls on after using the fabric . Maybe I bought from some one else last time will have to check but if you have the photo up showing it on the spool it is very misleading to the customer and needs to use the correct picture of it in a little plastic bag rolled up.
