Keychain USB Flash Drive 512gb Waterproof Memory Stick Portable Thumb Drive (512cc)

If you absolutely need a reliable USB memory stick, this 512GB thumb drive is NOT it !! Of course, the price looks good 512GB for ~ $23 bucks is unbeatable, however, here are a few of the issues I encountered:1. super slow and inconsistent read/write speed2. when copying multiple files or large amount of data, the drive gets "disconnected" i.e. Win 10 can't see it anymore, after just a few files being copied3. sometimes the progress meter shows that 100% of the files have been copied and when checked., many files were NOT copied at allAs of this writing only 75GB of the 512GB capacity is usable. I'm unable to get it to copy any other files.DO NOT BUY !!!! You will avoid a lot of frustration

Tried to load data onto the drive, and the transfer slowed down to nearly nothing and then stopped. I cancelled the transfer and tried again multiple times. I tried it in different ports. It told me I needed to reformat, so I did so, and still got the same error. This is a piece of junk. Don't buy!

Product is absolutely worthless. The size (thickness?) of the case made it so that it took far more force than I was comfortable with to insert into USB slot (it made me feel as if I was damaging the slot). I was able to see the drive and it was recognized as a 500+ GB drive; however, when I tried to store data on the drive, I was not able to get more than a GB or two before the drive seemed to stall, and it was extraordinarily slow when accessing/storing data. I tried using a Windows 10 computer and another Linux box with the same results. I then tried to format the drive using both the Windows box and the Ubuntu Linux box, but neither could not complete the task. I don't know if the drive is a misrepresented/fraudulently represented item or just defective, but the one I received is definitely not working as advertised, and frankly garbage.

I was a little indecisive on whether this in fact would be what was shown. WELL IT IS!I plugged it into my MacBook and it was identified in seconds. This is exceptionally fast and very stable.Don't hesitate in looking at this for what it is, it's phenomenal value!!!

Product is a sham. It claims to be 512gb, but is 1/10 that size or less. I used multiple methods to test the drive and it failed to hold anywhere near the capacity claimed. I had bought two of these. I issued a return for both, and returned them both. Strangely they "failed" to receive one of them. No they just want to hold on to money for items not worth a fraction of the cost and hours of time I put into testing them to be sure they were utter trash.

This USB flash drive is 2.0. It is just too slow to be a practical value.

When I got this, it was so excruciatingly slow that I had to send it back. It took 12 hrs to transfer 10 gb. I tried reformatting it to the faster NTFS and Better Performance settings in Properties, and tried 4 usb ports (3.0 and 4.0). Nothing was better! My 15 year old external hard drive is faster - a few hours for 250 gb. This drive was supposed to replace that old one, but no such luck. Fortunately, returning it to Amazon was less painful.

Terrible product. It doesn't work. Can't find the items transferred to the drive. Useless.
