As firefighters, we’ve seen it. No one can predict the future. You could face a survival situation 5 minutes from now – on your drive, at work, at home, or on vacation. Survival situations arise without a moment’s notice. Be prepared with this paracord watchband by Fireline. How does it work? The watchband unravels into a tough cord. When needed, quickly detach the 7-yard cord from your watch. Then unravel into 2 sections. Each section is5.5 feet long and has a minimum breakage strength of 550 lbs. The cord can be used for a variety of tactical and survival needs including shelter, food gathering, and tracking. Who needs it? Our unisex paracord watchband can replace your stock Apple watchband. It attaches easily, and our band comes pre-woven and ready to use – no need to send your watch out to have the band woven on or have to weave the band yourself. Upgraded details like stainless steel fixtures and inward-facing cord ends mean you will look great while having peace of mind that you’re protected in any situation. A must-have for preppers, scouts, campers, hikers, and anyone who likes to wonder off in to the woods without a plan. This Fireline watchband is risk-free. This is not just a replacement watchband or a new bracelet, it’s survival.

Great band with a few issues
Updated: The band was great while it lasted. The metal bar that holds the paracord wrist straps to the watch broke and left my watch dangling. Luckily I noticed it before my watch fell off.The band works as expected and looks great. Some of the issues I have experienced thus far are:The mechanism that locks the band to the watch didn't want to engage at first, but after a few tries, it locked into place. The anodized coating is chipping off around the screw clasp, but honestly, this is to be expected due to the metal on metal contact. This watch is difficult to put on. You have to have to lay the watch down and with one hand pull the bands together and insert the screw. You get better at it with time, but if you take the watch off more than a couple times a day, it can be a pain.

Great watch Band, kind of a hassle to take on/off, but very high quality!! Definitely recommend it!
GREAT watch band!! High quality construction, looks and feels good on my wrist. The ONLY complaint I have, which I knew when purchasing, so realize this... the mechanism to put it on is actually a bolt that needs to be screwed in. SO, yes, it's a little bit of a hassle, BUT, it's all the more secure on my wrist! Which is why I still gave it 5 stars. I knew it would probably be a little bit of a hassle, but I wanted something that would stay SECURE on my wrist on just just some piece of plastic. It's a little loose, but I'm on the middle of 3 size options, so if I want it tighter, I can always put it on the shortest one. I've had it about a month now, and it hasn't stretched out, which was 1 thing I was a bit afraid of. My generic Apple Watch band stretched a little, enough to go down at least 1 slot, especially when I'm working out & want it tighter (my HR is more accurate when it's tight). I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for an option I've described above. There were others w/ a plastic buckle, but I didn't want to end up with some cheap plastic connection that could break under pressure. The black finish is starting to wear off, but that's to be expected under wear, and it doesn't really bother me. Great watch band!

Great Look, just keep an eye on it!
I am a sucker for anything paracord related, so this band was a no brainer. It came faster than two days too which was nice, (ordered on a Saturday night, came Monday morning). The band is really well made, it seems really high quality, the only part that seems a bit lackluster would be the part where it slides into the watch itself. Comparing that piece to the OEM apple part, you can tell there is a difference. It doesn't lock in quite as securely as the OEM piece, which causes a bit a bit of concern, whereas you otherwise wouldn't have to worry about the watch falling off, but nothing I cant keep an eye on. Yes, as others have said, it is a bit of a hassle to put on, but that was expected when I made the purchase. I am happy with the band overall though! Will update, if something happens.Alright, here's a two month update.... As other reviews have stated the band seems a bit flimsy where it connects to the watch, I have not really experienced that, it has not fallen off, but I am still very careful about sticking my arm out of the window on the highway while wearing this. Other reviews have stated that the clasp paint starts to wear away, that is true. I wear this every day and take it off every night so I guess the bolt that screws into the d ring has more than average wear causing the now unpainted metal to discolor to almost a rust color. Not a huge deal, I could always scrub it down and repaint it if it gets too bad. I have gotten used to the bulkiness of it and I stand by my 4 star review.

Terrible clasp, very awkward to put on!
I seriously do not understand why more people are not complaining about how ridiculous the clasp is on this watch band. I have to UNSCREW a bolt with one hand each time I want to put my watch on and take it off...really??? It's a very cool looking band and seems to be great quality, but the clasp is simply a terrible design. I wonder how many customers have requested additional bolts for the clasp...if I kept this watch band, I could easily predict dropping that bolt a million times and losing it! Now I can look forward to paying $7 to return a watch band that I hate.

Great product and even better customer service!
Edit: I sent FIRELINE an email stating that I had lost the screw, and a gentleman named Josh responded. Without question, and only needing my order number, Josh said it would be no trouble to send me some extra screws since I had lost mine. Great customer service!!This product is great! There are three sizes and it actually fits my wrist without being too tight or too loose. There is one major thing that has me keeping it from getting 5 stars though. The clasp has a screw in design, which is a little tedious to put on yourself until you get used to it. But the real issue is the screw itself actually comes completely out of the assembly which it means it could easily be lost (like mine has). Other than that, this is a great product.

Disappointed/ not sure who’s fault
When the package arrived I was stoked to put this on but when I opened the package I realized that one side/ two ends of the paracord had come loose, or were just never glued down? I installed the band anyways. The band was immediately uncomfortable, either to loose or to tight. I don’t like my watch sliding around and when I had it tight it dug into my wrist. I was pretty blown. Thought about returning it, but decided I’d try to break it in. I got some superglue and tried to glue the loose paracord down. So far it has worked. I can still feel it dig in but I may be able to shave that part away.. it is a home rigged attempt.Anyways back to the none broken portion. I wore the band today on the tight setting and I have to say it has worn in nicely. It no longer digs in, and it fits pretty well, and looks awesome. I’d probably give this a five star rating if i didn’t have to glue it myself. Worth $30 if it comes fully together.
