I was in two minds, buy a new phone or try a new battery. Glad I settled for new battery.

Bought this for my partner, very happy with the fact he doesn’t have to charge his phone every day.

I didn't realise how run down the stock battery that came with my phone had gotten over the last 4 years. Even with no usage, my phone ended up with a flat battery after 6-8 hours and intermittently slowed to a crawl. Just swapping out my very recharged old battery with a new one tripled my battery life and my phone seems to be quicker.With respect to this battery, the main thing is that it fully works with my old Samsung S5. I can't say whether it's any different to a new stock battery but it's a league ahead of my old battery after one and a half thousand charges. If you're having performance issues with your old phone, try swapping out the battery - it's far cheaper than a new phone and probably better for the planet.
