Master LockBCO0403 Passage Door Knob, Polished Brass

I bought this to get a key to my room because the people in my house would not respect my privacy. I installed it myself easily & I’m only a 19 yr old girl lol, if I can do that any of you can. Price isn’t bad either, it comes with two keys too. I am really glad I got it

Keys are bigger than I expected, but it does the job & the installation was easy. This was my first time & it does its job.Update: I was mistaken and used a DIFFERENT KEY (my house key), put it in this lock and it UNLOCKED this DOOR.

Installed really easy. Our door did not have the plate on the door part (only door jamb part) with previous knob so we installed the same way. We have super deadbolt for locking and this Passage Door Knob is only to open/close the door - not lock it. Very glad we did not have to buy a whole new deadbolt/door knob set!This door knob is nicer looking than the picture, It has a nice smooth solid feel that fits hands well and the spring action is precise. It opens/closes great. Husband is thrilled it was so easy to install and works so smoothly without having to fiddle with file, sand or alter something. I like how it looks and that there are no groves that are hard to clean.We have a manufactured/modular home; the exterior doors are standard residential steel core with textured wood exterior (white). We replaced the passage style door knob that came with a deadbolt and door knob set. The original door knob was worn out. This one worked very nicely. Because of the deadbolt we did not need a locking door knob.

It broke on day 2. Save yourself the time and hassle and buy something else. I got home and tried to put my key in the lock to get in my bedroom and it wouldn't work. I have no clue what happened. I did nothing to the lock. The key just randomly didn't fit in it anymore. The keys seem super flimsy. Very annoyed I paid for this and spent all the time installing it and then got locked out of my own bedroom because it was broken on day 2 for no reason!

I LOVE this product! This front door locking security door knob is very stable, sturdy, and dependable. Masterlock has succeeded in making a very good doorknob that is smooth to the touch, has a very nice, shiny finish, and it never sticks. It was very easy to install and it only took me a couple of minutes to complete the job. This is a very good lock to use for your front door or even for other areas (such as bedrooms) in your home. Highly recommended!!!

Did I just install a lock? Oh, yeah. I did. I can't believe how easy it was. I am not handy at all, but this was so easy to install (with very clear instructions!). I got it for a closet door...just wanted to lock it.....and was very nervous that I would be able to install. It is very solidly built, and was a very easy install...only needed a screw driver. I feel so handy (and I am not!) If I could install this, anyone could. Aside from that, it looks great, comes with two keys, opens easily and is very solid. Highly recommended (not sure I would use this for an outside lock, though).

Easy to install and this was my first time. The knob is very big and round. Would purchase again if I ever need another.

These were cheaper on Amazon than at my local big box store. Not difficult to install and a decent bedroom door lock.

Perfect!!At first I was like, 1 star... then I was like 3 stars... now I'm like 5 stars...Thing is, the latch adjuster is not like they used to make them; it's one thing that got better with time.Considering those door knobs have been here since the house was built.Originally, I thought it was the wrong latch but didn't know how to use it.I knew something was wrong so I start pressing buttons and pulling levers.Sometimes, you just have to listen to the little voices inside your head telling you, try again.If your latch is too short, grab it by both ends and try to separate, it will eventually un-collapse.Old ones had the mechanism build it, this just extends and retracts the whole part.Would buy again!

Nice doorknob, but the problem was I needed a smaller size. I returned this item. It is basic knob and very nice quality. If your house is old and has the old style doorknobs I recommend you measure the hole where the slide part goes, it may not fit.

A nice doorknob, easy to install. The latch was a bit noisey, probably could quiet it up if you put some oil on it but I just ended up using my old latch. The amazon price also fluctuates up and down 10 bucks for some reason.
