I got this for general use around the house and garden. It works pretty consistently and seems to be very accurate right out of the box. I was able to start using it immediately with no problems. However, the calibration instructions look pretty intimidating - very technical and tedious with a lot of steps. Also, it only comes with a few one-time-use calibration packets, so if you want to calibrate it more than once, you'll need to purchase more calibration compound or packets. Overall a good value for the price.

It works good but could use a little improvement by making it have a hold button so in them had to see places you could push hold and pull it out so you can see it better and make the instructions in bigger writing we're I don't have to strain my eyes trying to read it but it does work good

This arrived quickly and after a quick rinse I tested it verse Ph drops and a friends Hanna meter, worked fine. This is for non scientific use so dont expect it to read within +/- .001 but it does work well for cheese making and beer. Have used for both now just keep diode clean and in case when not using.

My first unit had an issue and failed outside the return window. Totally understandable, it happens. I emailed TEKSKY, showed photos and, within 16-hours a CSR named Alice emailed me back and asked to validate my address for a replacement. Two days, later, a perfectly working replacement showed up on my doorstep. Customer Service is everything and TEKSKY came to the forefront and shone. Not only that, but their willingness to help/assist also shows absolute faith in their product which, works flawlessly! I have 3 water systems which I monitor, almost daily... and this is my right hand tool... Great product... AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE...

After driving out to spend 6.00 on new batteries, it is now working, but needs to be calibrated as it was on dry for as long as it takes to kill the OEM batteries. The batteries were not isolated so this can turn on while waiting for delivery. It seems like the calibration powders were pressed on the controls as the panel is depressed. Many others to choose from on Amazon, I would try another if you do not have 44s sitting around.Edit: The meter is poorly made. It has killed 3 sets of batteries in less than 3 weeks. Turning it off will shut off the display, but something is still pulling power in the meter. I have used it for 3 readings after each battery change, then store it for the next weekend and it is dead each time. I am now pulling the batteries after each use and that seems to prevent it from killing the batteries. I do not suggest this pH meter.

I used this to test the Ph of water from our tap, our fridge, and our Alkaline water machine. It was very easy to use and was accurate enough my needs.
