A perfect CD
I love this so much. I need to tell you that I am almost 70, but I am no music snob. I love all great music and this fits that category. Once again, I heard this on a dog rescue site and I did the research and found out who the group was. This goes down really smoothly and puts me in that frame of mind that I am in the mountains or beach and reading with my headphones on and pretending that I am not fat and not old. Music does that to me, taking me back to a carefree time when menopause was not even a thought and age spots and nonworking body parts were not even a consideration. We are going to hear great things from this group and I am looking forward to hearing all their stuff.

New favorite!!!
This album is full of nice relaxing songs, it will definitely be staying in my cd player in my car for a while. This has got to be one of my new favorite artists. I stumbled on Kodaline by accident as I was listening to The Villagers on Pandora when it started playing similar artists and a song from this album came on and I fell in love. There isn't one song on this album that I don't like (which is very rare for me) so I would recommend giving this a listen.

'Cause if I could see your face once more I could die as a happy man I'm sure
Kodaline's song, "All I Want," was featured in the TCM Remembers memoriam video in 2014. The song was just perfect and the video beyond imaginable. It was an artistic feat done every year to remember those lost. I had to hear more from Kodaline especially this track.Kodaline's other tracks are just as worthy and memorable. I always find and discover a new artist or group when I see the memoriam video on TCM. They know how to pick the right song. Kodaline should be hailed as one of the best bands around. They're deep with memorable lyrics and moments. I don't know why that they're not famous.

DO NOT BUY ON VINYL
What a complete joke. When I buy records, I do not expect to hear mp3 file quality. This was an absolutely horrible release, and as a record collector, I am honestly insulted that anyone would decide to put something with such poor quality on vinyl. It literally sounds 100x better on Spotify. Once again, DO NOT BUY THIS ON VINYL!

Great CD! Again
Great CD! Again, loved every song on it! The lyrics are beautifully written. A lot of people compare them to Coldplay because the main singer does sound like Chris Martin. However, you can UNDERSTAND the lyrics and Coldplay's lyrics never make any sense. I like lyrics that are clear and make sense. Oh, and they have really relevant music videos which is hard to find in this day and age. Very relaxing CD. Love it!

A Near-Perfect Album
Kodaline is one of the best new bands out there. I stumbled across this album via Spotify (with subscription!), and found myself listening to it over and over. Wound up buying the album in order to support the band, and bought copies to give away as well. This has become one of my favorite albums and one of my favorite bands. I've seen them live three times now, and they are reliably fantastic. The music sometimes has the feel of Atomic-Bomb-era U2, and the singer-songwriter-type songs have the quality of a Jackson Browne or Bruce Springsteen. A talented group of guys, the songs are well-written, well-structured, and over many listens different things stand out, such as the drums, bass, some of the more subtle guitar work. I wish them much success, and I am certain it is coming.

Simply Perfect
I heard All I Want and pre-ordered the CD from Amazon on the basis of that one tune. I had a feeling this was going to be good and I was right. It's great. I heard the song on cable TV while surfing some alternative music station, and I immediately taped it to hear over again. His voice is haunting. The songs just grab you and they don't let go. I wonder if Kodaline would be surprised that a 63 yr. old woman appreciates their music (and lyrics). My favorites are One Day, (the lyrics make me weep), All I Want, All Comes Down, and Talk. But there isn't a bad track on here. What a solid debut "album!" Thank you, Kondaline!!

They are good
A young irish band, and this is their debut. I've seen them live, and they were excellent, good songs, enthusiasm and interaction with the crowd.. You can hear a lot of U2 in this album (both bands are from Dublin, and I guess u2 are pretty important and influential over there...) but there is a lot of freshness in their sound. You will begin to singalong after a few listenings, believe me! Buy it, you will not be disapointed.
