good stuff for making hunting lights
I've been using this filter film to cover lights for hunting. Put some on LED bar for my ATV. Put some on solar motion sensor lights which I attached to my deer feeders. The animals don't even notice the light is on. Deer, hogs, rabbits, raccoons, possum, etc. good stuff.

Great Weight and Easy to Use
This material was used on an outside light unit to provide accent to a Coral Bark Japanese Maple. The material is a good weight and it is easy to work with. The adhesive seems to be working, as it has held up to the outside weather conditions.

Night vision flashlight DIY filter
I used this to create red filters for flashlights to preserve night vision. It works very well and is easy to cut to fit the lens of the flashlight. I took off a star because it takes two layers to get a really deep red beam that will work best to preserve night vision, but that may be nitpicking. It works very well and is very inexpensive for that purpose.

didn't work for my application
I was going to use this to turn my instrument cluster lighting red but it turned it pink instead, obviously not was I was looking for. I like the concept of having a film that has an adhesive; however, pink is not my cup of tea.

Uniquely Useful
This is good stuff. It's much more rigid than typical "adhesive backed vinyl on a roll". If you need something that is durable and will apply to flat surfaces without wrinkling or bubbling, and will hold up to outdoor use, abrasion, etc., this works very well. I used it to "tint" a clear acrylic window for an electronics project which has red LED's behind it, and it couldn't have worked better for my particular purpose.

As advertised -- transparent red film
Used this for astronomy, need red light to preserve night vision. Film doesn't form easily to cover auto interior light domes, but it's good for other areas.
