The Daily Show: "Official Coffee Mug

A few years back I was hoping to grab a Daily Show mug on the Comedy Central site and they were sold out. I received a notification that they were available recently and decided to order one. I read a review and one customer said it was a sloppily constructed mug and was disappointed. I had waited so long for it to become available I just ordered it anyway.I'm glad I did; it is identical to the one that sits on Jon Stewart's desk. The glossiness, coloring, and lettering areflawless.Now I can drink my coffee in style. I love it!

I've bought it as a gift for my husband, coz he loves watching the Daily Show.The cut itself is OK i guess, just a cup as the have on the show.But the print started to come off really quickly. Just from usage, and mostly from washing it in a dishwasher.

Smaller than expected.

I put off buying this for over two-years due to the awful reviews. I decided they must have had time to fix this problem and if worse came to worse, I could use it for pens. I am delighted with this perfect cup. The handle is wonderful, the size is perfect. the weight is good and there are no blemishes. I washed it by hand then washed it in the dishwasher and still perfect. It is so easy to hold (with arthritic hands) and still wrap a hand around the other side. I am very happy with this mug as I cannot hold some cups. It does not burn the hands after the microwave (or coffee pot) and does not spill as it is well balanced. It does not take up excessive room in the cupboard. I speak as one who has tried numerous coffee cups - I often believe in giving something a chance and who ever messed this cup up in the past must have been replaced with a company that makes a quality product. I was hoping Jon would not allow this to continue to be inferior.

I'm a huge fan of The Daily Show, so you can imagine my disappointment when I opened the nice box and found a small, unappealing mug with blemishes...spots of white, especially one that has 'bubbled', that will probably crack because they have no finish. Yuck. I bought it as a gift, but am too embarrassed to give it! The Colbert Report mug, on the other hand, is AWESOME! It is large and has a great design and handle, and no imperfections.

I ordered the mug as a gift for a fan of the show and after opening it, my first thought was I'll have to return it because some of the letters on the "Daily Show" logo are *noticeably blemished*. The mug was also a bit smaller than I thought it would be. But, having to return a $14 item, what a pain in the ass. So I peeled off the Made In China sticker and decided to keep it because I enjoy the show as well. I'll find another gift.So you have to ask yourself... do you want to spend $21 (including s/h) for what is likely to be a sub-standard "Daily Show" mug?

My husband uses this cup everday. I have put it in the dishwasher and also hand washed it with no problems. pretty study coffee mug. worth the money.

great buy , def will buy it agian, wash it on the dishwasher and the paint dosent gets worn out
