BEAULIFE Strongest Expanding Garden Hose 50ft Green

I bought two expanding hoses of different brands. This is one of them. I bought the 50 ft length because this is what I needed in both the front and back of the house. I first put one hose at the front of the house and put ONLY pressure on it. I.e., no water was flowing other then applying pressure to the hose itself; the end of the hose shutoff was closed. I expected this to give me maximum hose extension. The length I got was 21 feet with the Kpow 50 ft hose. I got about 29 ft with the Beauife 50 ft hose. Both hoses contracted somewhat with pressure removed but I suspect they were longer than the expected 16 ft. Pretty disappointed with the usable length and the lengths mentioned are without water flowing. If you turn on the spray attachment, you will get an even shorter expansion. If you pull on the hose, it will increase in length but a) you shouldn't have to do that and b) at some point the hose most likely tear from its attachments. I will agree that the hoses are light and easier to maneuver which is the only reason I am keeping them. But I will be using TWO 50 ft hoses in order to get a TRUE 50 ft length. Not a happy camper at that price.

Love the well made brass ends and the ability to turn the water off easily at the end of the hose. Love the shrinking hose when you turn off the water...I store it in an earthenware planter. Do have to have high water pressure to get the hose to reach its 50 feet. Was, however, disappointed, when in the instructions it mentioned not dragging it over concrete because this would harm the outer layer of the hose. Using both my spogots at my house require me to cross a sidewalk so i will have to see how badly this damages my hose.

There is no way that this is a 50 foot hose. It does not expand to the stated size and can barely reach 23 feet. The closure valve is non-functioning. I was swayed by the good reviews and maybe I just got the lemon. This is a cheap piece of junk and is being returned today.

I would love it if it doesn't keep breaking... This is the second time I'm having to ask for a replacement because the hose only lasts for a month.. I bought this hose for the firs time in January, and I use it about twice a week to water my plants and the pool. After a month the hose breaks and I am having to contact customer service.. I love how compact they retract and how easily they untie, but please make the hose more durable...I am having to ask for another replacement yet again.

Do you have folding your hose? Hate how long and heavy and how much of a hassle it is? Then GET THIS HOSE! When you first get it don't be surprised how small it is because it WILL EXPAND. I am not sure what technology they use, but once you fill the hose with water it will expand and elongate. All you have to do is empty out all the water in the hose and it shrinks back and is easy to handle as it has no real shape.

Spicket issue. Loose fitting between spicket connection and hose.Replacement sent but still the same issue with my spicket. Tried hose on neighbors spicket and it really works great.Company emailed me and said to keep the replacement at no charge. Going to replace the spicket so I canpurchase one of these GREAT hoses. GREAT response from company. Will look forward to any newproducts !!!

This is the best hose I've ever used. I'm using this about a year now, and I have no complaint. It shrinks when not pressurized and become very compact and super light to bring around. Any regular hose of this length are so bulky and heavy, but this one is so compact and portable. It never kinks, which is also a nice feature.

I bought this in February. I thought it was going to be stronger and last much longer than the cheap ones.But a month or so ago, it sprang a leak about 2 feet out from the faucet. Then last week it sprang another one and yesterday...it sprang a leak near the nozzle and I got soaked!!! I'm so disappointed, because the site stated it was good quality!
