I was searching everywhere for a dress that is sweet and not too revealing and i was so happy i came across this dress. i'm 5'7" and im a size 12. I do not have a lot of chest area so size 12 was a bit too big there, but i do have hips and butt so size 12 was the one to go. It was such a functional dress, easy to move and not itchy or uncomfortable at all. I wore this to my brothers wedding and got a ton of compliments!

This dress is a great combination of feminine appeal of lace with a great modern cut in the back.- Overall look/quality : My aesthetics tend to be more simple and minimalistic, however for upcoming formal events, including a wedding at the Four Seasons, I wanted to add some whimsical lace to my attire. I am super picky about lace and don't care for it in general since they tend to cheapen the fabric for me. The lace applique of this dress are very thick, luxurious and soft (not itchy as mentioned by another buyer). The lace applique are placed very nicely/strategically (with minimal exposure of the breast area so you can easily wear a nude bra) and symmetrical - I felt great care was taken to do this. The overall halter top design is nice especially the back which gives it a modern twist so it doesn't veer towards matronly as lace sometimes does.- Size : I am normally US 4/6 and the 8 fits, so order according to size chart measurements. I did initially order a size 10 but that was too big.- Color : Interestingly enough the size 10 dress I ordered initially and held onto until I got the size 8 to see which was a better fit was different despite both being burgundy. The lace applique of the size 10 was lighter in color than the size 8 dress. Both were pretty red wine color with the darker lace applique in the size 8 being more appealing to me. So the difference in color doesn't bode well to quality control however I am content with the color overall. As my little one said it was very "Christmasy" which is exactly what I was hoping for in the terms of my choice of color for these winter events.- Alterations : I will need to hem it up since the dress is too long for myself (5'3"). I did remove the sewn in cups because they sit way above my breasts and have purchased a backless push up bra to use with it. I also did clip some part of the lace applique that pokes out a little bit but again overall the placement of the lace applique was done very well. I cannot take off the beaded pearls since they have metal backings however they are the same color of the lace applique so they do not show off too much.

I spent so much time dress shopping online and THIS WAS THE WINNER! The price is amazing. The material is great. The design is perfect. I wanted a modest and classy dress to chaperone a school dance. This was perfect, especially for the price point. The chest area seemed a bit big for my taste, but I am smaller chested. Also, I think the sizing for this was really spot on. If you’ve done a lot of dress shopping online, I’d say don’t be afraid to go with your size or maybe size down if you are smaller chested. I also tried the pink one but I didn’t like the color as much, and I think I ordered it a size bigger anyway.

Was skeptical to purchase due to lack of reviews. The dress is very pretty and the color burgundy was right on... pictures don’t do it justice, it’s more of a purplish red than it shows. Really like a dark wine. I am 5 3” and weigh 139lb, the 8 fit well with a little room, especially in the bust area. I am only returning it because the material up top is very itchy, I wouldn’t be able to keep it on all night. The stitching in the back is also a little too apparent for my liking. But for the price it’s a nice dress.

Love the dress. It Fits well. Many of my friends loved it.. Pretty true to size based on the chart. Love the rich red color. My only complaint would be that the top only has two "beige" bra cups- no other liner and depending on your skin tone, this may appear a little awkward especially in the sunlight. I just prefer a little more coverage. I also would have preferred if they just left the mesh off the back part and left that open. But those are just personal choices. It's really a great dress for the money.

I love the dress, it is so beautifully made, classy, and is just perfect for my brother’s wedding. I am a size US 4/6 and size 6 is perfect! I have bulging tummy, but this dress made me look thin. Burgundy is the wedding’s color and it’s the same as pictured. Only issue I have is a couple of run on the font of my dress, but is not noticable. Otherwise, I still give it a 5 out of 5!

Would NOT recommend if you want to be ar all comfortable. The lace is stiff and scratchy and will rub your skin under your arms and against your chest raw in a matter of minutes. The product doesnt really match the picture either. The top is see through lace with two little round pads around where your boobs are. It's really cheap material and not at all what I'd want to wear for an evening.

Fulfilled expectations
