Xtreme Signal SSMAST5 5-Feet Swedged Antenna Mast

This is a pole with one end crimped so it's a smaller diameter enabling it to be inserted into another pole, mount, etc. It worked well for me. It's diameter is pretty small (1 5/8 OD) so it will provide height atop my under eve, u-shaped antenna mount. Both had to be bolted together in two places to mount one to the other so drilling was required. This pole would not work well with a mount, pole, etc., of a much greater OD (1.75) because it would not fit well.

It arrived exactly as advertised. I see it lasting for many years.

Good pipe, did the job. I didn't realize how long it was, I only needed 14". Took a hacksaw to it and all is fixed. I'll find a use for the rest.

It's a 5 foot long swedged pole, alright! Except that where I worked, we called it "swaged" (the "a" is long, as in "sway"). The definition is the same for both words. The pole is dimpled at one end to make it fit into another pole of the same nominal diameter.

Good for its' intended purpose. a little pricey for what it is, but if it gets the job done and does not rust away, then I am satisfied. I put this up on my roof with a chimney mount and it is holding up my antenna just fine.

I used two of these masts with their 18in offset mounts to put up my weather station. Light weight but very heavy duty masts. They stack very well. I would buy them again.
