I needed a voltmeter to keep an eye on my 4runner's alternator, and this fit the bill well. As soon as I got it, I went about installing it. I had to remove the center console panel, and use a dremel to enlarge the cigarette lighter hole, but it did fit. The flimsy flap needed to be cut down a bit because it was difficult to remove the flap from the USB ports. I love the look, and despite some minor modifications, I think it will be better than having a gauge mounted to the A-pillar. Very satisfied for the price!

Ordered this product slightly hesitant of its quality for the price. I was pleasantly surprised upon it's arrival. The case and face are well made and it charges very quickly and not the charge that dissipates quickly. My phone held the charge all day unlike some other QC devices I've used before. I installed it on my '99 TJ, which only required minor enlargement of the hole to replace the stock 12v socket. Two minutes with a Dremel grinding out the stock hole and it was set for install. I do wish that the nut was metal or that a spare was available. I will absolutely purchase a few more of these for my other vehicles and another for my TJ.

This thing is great! Not only does it add 2 USB ports instead of a useless cigarette lighter, it also shows you alternator charging output! A must have!

I bought this to use on our Toyota Sienna to replace a broken socket. What I didn't do, was verify that the diameter was the same as the one I was replacing. I just assumed it was. Unfortunately, this one is a little bigger, so I had to dremel out the receptacle hole a bit more. 15 mins later, this was installed and working perfectly. I like that I can see the battery charge and verify that the alternator is actually charging the battery when the car is running. The construction seems to be of good quality. I'd definitely buy this again.

Really good unit. Both ports work well and you can quick charge on both. I had to open up the lighter hole it replaced but was easy to install and the included connectors were nice to have.

Alright, they sent me a deal to leave my review in exchange for $10, so here we go: I bought this charger 3.0 which means it’s a fast charging device, well it’s not. It took almost 2 hours and 30 minutes for my galaxy S10+ to charge, while it usually takes around 1 hour 30 minutes to go from 1% to 100% when using a real fast charger. I returned the first one thinking it was defective, they sent me another one, well you guessed it, same thing, which draw to the conclusion that it is not a real 3.0 fast charger, it’s a regular one.The good reviews are either biased or from users who don’t care/know the difference between regular and fast charging.

The unit is well made and compact. The built-in voltage meter provides instant battery charge condition with a quick glance. I use these units mounted into the lid of the Attwood 12 volt DC deep cycle marine battery cases for a convenient way to have a 5 volt DC electrical charge source for cell phones, etc.

I really like the external quality of this charger/volt meter. The only draw back is that it is has a larger circumference than your average DC/cigarette lighter plug in. I had to use a drill and step up bit to widen the plastic molding to make it fit. No big problem in my application but if you want one with no modifications you may want to look elsewhere.
