Simple to apply, great to use
I wanted a more cost-effective alternative to Paperlike. This product was easy to install on my iPad Air 2019. It has dramatically improved the feel of writing and annotating on the screen. The texture of the film against the Apple Pencil offers a good balance of friction and precision. I was a bit unsure buying this product, but I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to try it out.

Can recommend
Using it with my iPad Air 3rd gen & Apple Pencil 1st gen - it is great for the price. Application was also a breeze - no air bubbles whatsoever.

Good value
I bought this for my iPad Pro 2018, it was blue in colour not clear so it definitely has an affect on the screen brightness, some films or programmes iv watched appear darker than they normally would and iv struggled to see some of them so iv had to play around with the screen brightness in settings. It was easy to install and the little card that came with it was handy for getting air bubbles out, iv used these protectors before but maybe a little harder for anyone whose trying it for the first time but you can lift it and readjust so it makes it easier. Overall a good buy, face recognition and touch screen all work done with it

Not for me...
The product was fairly easy to install but unfortunately there were a couple of specs of dust missed and these were very annoying after installation (created bubbles). I was unable to remove them once the screen protector was on. It also came with 'positioning stickers' that were not referenced in the instructions, the bits of dust were under these stickers so possibly why I missed them. I didn't like drawing or writing with the protector in place. I found my pen didn't work as well. The feel was definitely a personal preference but the responsiveness with the pen would have been a problem. I removed it, which was fairly easy after I managed to get an edge up.

+ Easy to install, good writing - not anti-glare, frustratingly distorted display
Positives:- The writing surface is fantastic with the Apple Pencil. Really feels like paper.- Easy enough to apply (if you’ve done a few screen protectors before).- Good screen coverage area. Doesn’t cover FaceID sensor.- Fingerprints are marginally less easy to collection.Negatives:- I wanted something that would mainly help with viewing my iPad screen on sunny days outdoors. This doesn’t help in any way.- The texture of the protector makes the iPad Pro’s exquisite screen look distorted and muddy. Unacceptable.- The texture makes the touchscreen feel quite odd when scrolling. The friction is annoying.** All in all, I had to return it - the distortion of the screen was unacceptable **

Nice to write on, but ate my Apple pencil tip in 6 weeks
I've used this product for about 6 weeks now, it does have a rough texture that feels very nice to write on, though does take away from the image quality considerably. By now, the texture feels slightly smoother at certain spots but it's not very noticable. What did not hold up so well was my Apple pencil tip, which was ground down to the metal in 6 weeks. It no longer glides smoothly and tilt-recognition is inaccurate, so it will have to be replaced. Given this, I am planning to upgrade to Paperlike which I've read is gentler on the tips, as saving on the cost of regular tip replacements will make it cheaper in the long run.

Nice textured screen protector.
Adds a pleasing texture to the screen, and I like the slightly speckled-like effect it gives, it makes static images look like they have been vividly printed and stuck to the screen. It's hard to explain but I like it.Also adds a decent amount of resistance to the pen early on but that diminishes a bit over time. It's still better than writing directly on the slippy glass though.
