Rachael Ray Stowaway Potlucker, Red

I saw the reviews were really great for the Rachael Ray Lasagna Lugger, but I did not need an insulated carry bag that large. I was looking for a carrier to use with a 1.5 to 2 quart casserole dish, and the Potlucker seemed to be just the right size. I just received the carrier, and I am so disappointed with this product.There really isn't much to the carrier, and that's the problem. The 2-zip open sides are hard to zip, the material is flimsy, and there is NO STURDY BASE to support the bottom of the carrier. I can't imagine this keeps food warm very long with the limited amount of padding. And how one earth do they expect you to carry a casserole dish without any support on the bottom of the carrier? The idea of having the handle on the top of the bag is to be able to carry the case, without having to use your other hand to support the bottom of the bag. But there is nothing to support the base, so the bag hangs irregularly and buckles under its own weight. Putting a sturdy piece of cardboard on the bottom would have been an improvement, but as it is constructed, it is just as flimsy as the rest of the padded carrier. A huge disappointment. This will be sent back to Amazon.

i have had it over a year i love it just right for toting a couple hot dishes in, i found wrapping my item in foil before putting in the tote keeps the food hot longer

This is what I chose to be my lunch box. The low profile means it will sit still on my car seat. It does work for cold or hot foods so it's versatile. The zipper is not the greatest. One star off for that.

I have not used this yet. I took a casserole to a party and had to put it in the larger Lasagna Lugger, which kept it REALLY hot for almost two hours (and probably longer if we had not opened it to eat.) Since the Stowaway Potlucker is made of the same material, I'm sure it works just as well. My items arrived quickly and were packaged well and I would highly recommend this item.

Haven't used it yet but I did take 9" square glass pan and experiment with how the Potlucker fits together and I can see that it's going to be a very nifty thing to have for carrying brownies, etc. to potlucks. There's a short video to watch if you can't figure out how it works but really it's pretty simple. :)

This has been great for bringing either hot or cold items to potlucks, church, friends' houses, picnics, etc. I love that it can accomodate either square or round items, with a bit of room leftover for a hot or cold pack. I get compliments on it whenever I bring it somewhere. It's also nice that it folds flat for easy storage. Recommended.

Item came in handy during the holidays, food stayed perfectly warm after travelling. Made one mistake coming back, didn't check lid on pan by the time I got home, grease had spilled all over inside & out causing stains. Was worried I wouldn't get stains out but washed with warm soap & water, aired dry, stains out.

I bought this as a gift for my sister. She liked it, and I think it is made very well and will be very useful in the future. I am a big Rachel Ray fan, so of course I like her products. They are made well and withstand frequent use.
