Gibson's Red Soho Lounge Dinnerware Set features classic stoneware dinnerware. The set has a black exterior and is made from ceramic material. Durable thick dinnerware is difficult to scratch or break. 16-piece stoneware set includes four place settings each of 12.75-inch dinner plate, 9-inch dessert plate, 6.25-inch bowl and 12 ounce mug (plates and bowls measured diagonally). Bold designs for the bold at heart. Traditional finishing techniques produce differences in color, size and texture, ensuring no two pieces are exactly alike. Set is dishwasher and microwave safe for easy clean.

My only issue (that I will admit is due in part to my clumsiness) is the bowls are a bit TOO sleek haha they were hard to hang onto while washing them and easily slipped out of my hands and hit the floor and shattered EVERYWHERE 😅 I ended up breaking 2 out of the 4 (which upset me a lot, as I absolutely love them!)

I was specifically looking for a cream or light beige colored, matte finish, and unadorned set of dinnerware that included dinner bowls, one of my personal favorites. All the pieces are generously sized, have excellent weight, and wash up beautifully. I will say that this set is as pictured, which in my opinion is not a true cream color but instead is a very light beige color. For me, it is perfect and suits my minimalist style. My two sets of dinnerware were delivered in two separate boxes and none of the pieces were broken. I highly recommend!

A: It comes with basically four of everything.

**Q: do these dishes come in matte finish?**
A: The eating surface is glossy while the back of the plate is matte. I do not believe they have any other options for a completely matte plate as that would quickly get scratched.

**Q: How do I get a replacement dessert plate in the color green**
