The connections are on the bottom of the ballast rather than the sides, so I suspended the ballast on nuts so there is space for the wires. I'm hoping it will increase the airflow as well. Keep that in mind when choosing electronic ballasts- sometimes you have a few choices and wire location may be the difference. This one is running two 26 watt CFLs with 4 pins each. Aside from my wire location screw-up it was very easy to install. The wire receptacles are color-coded, although the ground wire receptacle is grey (Still obvious because your choices are Black, White, and Grey for the input wires.
