Accuracy
Very thorough and accurate chronology of the Mustang. Our family owned and drove 5 Mustangs from 1965 to 1985. Miss those daily drivers now.

Mustang red book
this is a nice reference book for mustang enthusiasts who is interested in what models were offered each year. It also shows the number of models produced and what colors they were offered in. This could help someone determine if a specific mustang might be rarer then others or a dime a dozen. This book per say doesn't give a narrative history on mustangs more of just a factual by the numbers history.

Not impressed
It's not very complete information, and it's quite small in size. Also, some statistics aren't very accurate. You'd be better off using some of the mustang websites such as mustangspecs

Good Buyers/Collectors reference
A nice complilation of the stats across the history of the Mustang as well as some interesting comments on the changes and special features of the various generations. Might be useful for a collector or someone in the process of buying via auctions as the volume and features (thus value) vary wildly in most all the years built.

Specific produceion numbers
I wish it had more details on production number of specific models and options. Such as how many 1966 Mustang GT convertibles were built with the 289 HiPo engine and 4 speed?

It's all here. Everything you wanted to know in a clear concise manner. How many,what engine,what package, and yes even the price. Glad I purchased.

Did find a few errors in the newer Mustang section such as VIN numbers.

Excellent replacement!!
I bought this, as my previous version was so worn out, the pages were dropping to bits.I now know more about the certain years of Mustangs I need to know, so I can then be happy in the knowledge that, when I eventually buy my Mustangs in the States, I'll know exactly what to look for, and what bits should be there, etc!
