No sleep mode issues at all. *by D***N on January 25, 2021* No issue installing into 2014 mid year MacBook Pro. 2.5ghz 4-Core i7. Installed it along with an inland 1TB ssd. Created an image of Big Sur before hand on a micro SD. Booted while holding option, selected sd card Disk utility showed available drive Partitioned it for Apple Ran Big Sur installation. Golden. No special steps.
