Oxford Paperback Dictionary & Thesaurus

A very handy dictionary and thesaurus. It can be taken to anywhere as it is lightweight and handy. It includes almost all the important words, explanations , synonyms and antonyms which a person always needs. I got a very new item from the seller to whom I always trust on.

Making children read 5 words every day or reading to them,improves vocabulary and sentance formation.In young age they have lot of words to choose from when they speak. Increases their knowledge at young age

I purchased the book under review for presenting to an underprivileged student of 9th standard studying in ninth standard in Malayalam medium. I had read an article in a Malayalam Newspaper by an English professor regarding the requirements for acquiring skills in English language. They are 1)A good grammar book 2)A good English-English Dictionary 3)A guide to practical usage and 4) a thesaurus. The book under review served the purpose of a good dictionary and thesaurus at a low price. I find the book very useful with the meanings of words explained in simple language giving synonyms with each word.

Nicely colored and illustrated book. But not much useful for high-school children

This is one 'must have' for the budding learners! Gifted it to my nephew and he instantly fell in love with it! He actually started teaching us about bamboo shoots by referring to the illustrations in the book! Definitely recommending this to all.

My grandson likes it so much to know about new things.

Very good dictionary with very good pictures, easy to understand, excellent printing on very good quality paper.
