Have only had for about 2 months but working great. Very easy to install, chickens do not have to learn how to use. Cup is always full. just clean out each day and the'll have fresh water when the need. We had the other cups which they had to manipulate a lever. I know they weren't drinking enough.An add on to my review. They worked great for about 6 months then one started leaking. A little later another one started leaking. Now they are all not working, back to my original units. The sealing rubber gets hard and doesn’t seal. I took apart and cleaned but didn’t help. Wouldn’t recommend these as they don’t hold up.

I think the chickens like this type of waterer more than the nipple type. These are a vast improvement over other watering products. 2 I mouned to the side of a standard drywall mud bucket and they work great, comes with a clear o-ring themat prevents leaks.Other 2 I mounted to some pvc fittings. Over all mountes to a 5 gallon bucket was quick and easy and if I buy more will just install on a bucket.Not sure how they will work in the winter, will update post once we get a good freeze...Had a hard freeze and the ones in the 5 gallon bucket worked out fine. Ones that I installed on a 1/2" PVC pipe are good too (although another part of the pipe froze and started leaking). I'm in NC so hoping the ones on the bucket make it through the winter.

These were very easy to install using a bucket I already had and the drill bit provided. They plugged right in with no leaks. Been using it for about a month now and I have to say I like this waterer more than the $89 poultry waterer I had bought previously. This one keeps the water cleaner for the chickens because the ducks can't make as big of a mess! Its also much easier to fill from the top as opposed to some other waterers on market.

This replaced tge watering cups that came with the water I had already purchased. The other cups had the yellow pins that the chickens had to push and hold to fill the cups with water. These cups are gravity fed and work fine. I am going to get more and make another waterer for my other chicken pen.

Mine leaked constantly, but the chickens used them.

I used these to water my quail but you can use them to water chickens or any fowl. What I like about them is the bird doesn't have to push down on anything to release the water. The water is gravity released so as the birds consume the water more water enters the cup. The cups come with a drill. Since I have zero skills I had my handyman attach them to a 5 gallon bucket and a two gallon bucket a few months ago and they work extremely well. Highly recommend.

I have put these on an existing waterer that had the small red cups, that they had to peck the small yellow part for the water to fill up the cup. My chickens just could not understand the small red cups!! 🙄 These fill up well and stay full of water, nothing for the chicken to "figure out". No leaking and were very easy to install since my waterer already had the preexisting holes, I just tightened in place. They do come with a drill bit if needed to install on a bucket or other container, but I did not personally use it obviously. Happy with my purchase so far. I will see how the hold up. Would recommend 👍

I am a certified TNR (trap-neuter-release) cat caregiver. For stray or feral cats, getting clean drinking water is a concern. Cats can knock over a regular water bowl, the water can get dirty or the water can just run out/evaporate. I've taken an empty, plastic cat litter container, installed 2 of the chicken watering cups on 2 sides and now my cat colony can have access to clean drinking water for several days!This was a very inexpensive way to provide the clean water - and it was very easy to install.

A must have for chooks and was glad to find these as had to replace some old ones.
