My husband installed this and he said everything went just fine. Instructions were okay. Luckily, he's super handy, so he was able to breeze through installation. I bought an old '70s credenza at an online auction, sight unseen, except for the two pics I included here. I didn't know what I was going to do with it, but for $5, I couldn't pass it up. It was huge and weighed about 300 pounds. No joke. My son saw it and begged his step-dad to make him a farmhouse-inspired entertainment cabinet / TV stand. So he did. We used old weathered fence pickets, that our neighbors gave us for free, for the top and shelves on the inside. He attached a frame around the top, because the edge was beveled and he had to cut the beveled lip off. It made it look unclean and ragged, so he made a frame and then laid the angled pickets inside the frame for the herringbone pattern. I recycled the discarded drawers into a set of nightstands and two hanging shelves. The barn door hardware brought everything together and looks great!

I purchased the 54". The rail comes as two pieces, one is 24", the other looks like it was a 48" piece that was cut to 30". The cut was jagged and sharp, I cut my finger on it pulling it out of the box. The 24" piece has pre-drilled holes for a 24" piece while the 30" piece only has two holes drilled on one end. The bracket that holds the wheel was a flat piece, not the "J" shape in the pictures. The wheels are plastic and don't spin easily. I was missing one of the screws that tightens the bumper to the rail. I just received it today so I haven't tried to install it yet but judging by the poor quality so far I'm expecting more problems.

Fantastic!!! Came with all the hardware I need and a pretty simple instruction booklet. I didn’t use it to mount a traditional cabinet barn door, rather for a custom canvas photo panel project. I especially liked that all the specs & measurements etc were posted upfront so that could make sure it would work for my project. And then it came exactly as advertised!!! Very sturdy !!!

To start, there were no instructions included, and I was not expecting 2 peices for the 54" rail, the description was misleading as it said anything under 8 ft would be a solid peice. Customer service was quick to respond to one of two issues I had, stated the "mini" was 2 peices 🤷‍♀️, so had to ask them again for instructions on installation. The 2 peices that make up the rail are not the same size so the peice that connects them is not only off center but bulky and quite frankly an eyesore. The rollers however were very nice. I did not return due to living in a rural town during the covid 19 pandemic, however I was able to purchase flatbar and build my own rail to finish my project. It was a disappointing experience to say the least, with the time wasted waiting for answers, directions and discovering the rail was not esthetically pleasing or what I was expecting, I could have built 3 sets myself. I may buy the rollers again separately if possible as they are good quality and gorgeous but will definately go back to making my own hardware.

Love this rail system. It went together very easy and looks great. Rail is easy to cut and the instructions are about 80% where they need to be. The dimensions are perfect (which was important on my project, I didnt have a lot of wiggle room)First rail sent was warped a bit but the customer service was great and I had a new rail sent a few days later! I will def buy this again if I have a need for a furniture barn door!

This thing is awesome, the only reason I docked a star is because the directions were very generic and clearly came from a full sized barn door fixture. I do these kinds of projects all the time, so it was not hard for me to figure out, but if you were a first timer, the directions could be confusing. Functionally, this is perfect, and a way more cost efficient way to put a barn door on something if you have the wood to build it.

First I was disappointed that my bar was actually 2 bars. No where did I get the impression I would get 2 bars. The instructions were pretty useless. What text intsructions that were there, were misleading. I figured it out bc I am handy but good luck for anyone that isn't. Only 2 anchors included to help hold into the sheetrock, they were too small for the screws that go into the wall PLUS bc I have a second bar, I need 2 more anchors. Overall looks good but design is flawed, description misleading and instructions worthless. Hopefully it stays on the wall, we'll see.

This is a quality product. Pretty easy to install and customer service is great. I build a nightstand/book shelf for my son (I'm not good at all) and the sliding door made the nightstand looks like it made by a professional :)
