My players & I love these captain bands. They last about 4-6 months of being used 3-4 times a week. Hey, everything doesn't last forever when you have kids yanking & pulling them up & down so much. Plus they tend to get dirty & smelly and I like to order new ones for the next team. This is the 2nd time rendering these bands.I have found some bands do tend to frey and strings start to come undone. I take a Bic lighter and melt that string (just like its done for a rope that is coming apart) and it melts and stops it from coming apart the rest of the way. Helps it last longer. I know I will definitely be ordering these again this fall.
