Very durable and light weight for both spinning and baitcasting rods
The media could not be loaded. The video I posted was a couple of days ago when I accidentally hooked a 7’ Gator. As u can see the rod took it in stride with no issues. I can cast it for hours with no fatigue.. being 7’4” 2 piece I was concerned about the connection point but the fit is tight and has plenty of backbone at the connection.. I am very pleased with its performance with a flick of the wrist it cast a mile with very lite lures a 1/5 Ned rig has no issues with this rod and the Akataka spinning reel 3000 model. Highly recommendedPurchased the 7'4" baitcasting rod as well to be able to compare the quality of the Akataka brand and from receiving the boxes I have had no complaints on either rod. I have fished both rods very hard from the day I purchased and so far no issues. At first I thought the 2 piece was going to be an issue for me but the joint is so tight that I forget that it is a 2 piece. I have not had to adjust the to top piece at all on either one of the rods and when you look at the connection joint you can see there was some thought behind the design with plenty of backbone in that part of the rod. The length of the rods give the casting ability of the reels a great compliment being that the guides make the line run smooth as the braid goes through the cast. Currently I have 30#braid on the spinning and 50# braid on the baitcasting rods. I will be posting full reviews on social media comparing all of these rods and reels to the competition including casting for distance and also a drag simulation.

I get good action with this and it matches my reel

Rod is no good
Tip broke after catching 4 fish tried to reach customer service and haven't heard anything from them it's been a week now I definitely would not recommend buying this rod
