Irish Turf/Peat Incense and 1.5 inch sq Burner Plate,Beige,

I would recommend lighting it outside a building to prevent a smoke alarm going off. It will fill a room with just one little square of turf. Smells almost like a bonfire but sweeter?

Let me start off by saying that this isn’t what I expected. It comes with a small stone dish, a square with a rounded depression in the middle. The turf/incense is small cubes. You light it similarly to regular incense, but you need to hold the flame to it a bit longer. The more of it that’s smoking, the stronger the smell. It’s not for everyone but I love it. It’s a sort of earthy campfire smell and actually very relaxing.

If you have been in houses in Ireland…. you will be disappointed at the scent this product gives off. It is very hard to light, and it does not stay lit. I was really hoping for something authentic….. this does not smell like turf from a real Irish big. 😥

A small, practical, but not completely satisfying reminder of the greatness of Irish Peat.I do enjoy this product and it is what it is. Your living room will carry the fragrance and it will take you back to Ireland but each peat cube (there are about 12 in the box) does not last more than 15 minutes and it will leave you wanting more.This product has a burner and a supply of peat cubes. The burner that comes with the product is a small stone tray about an inch square. If you have an incense burner or just a stone coaster just order the refill item instead of this kit and enjoy.It takes a while to ignite this. I suggest doing it over a candle. I use a needle inserted to hold it while igniting. The stuff is pretty fragile and can crumble if you old it with a tool that grips from the sides.I mistook the box (house) to play a role in the burning. It doesn't. It is just the box.All that said I am grateful for this product and delighted to have it.

I will gift this to a friend who dreams of Ireland and peat fires. Just a small token. She’ll probably use it in her fire pit. It is a small peat sample, the “cottage” is cardboard - like I said: a small token of friendship. Nevertheless, I AM pleased with it.

I am so disappointed. This was meant to be a gift and it arrived in completely destroyed packaging.

I ordered this for a Christmas gift and when I saw the size of it I was embarrassed to give it to her. It was so tiny.

I've never been to Ireland, nor do i think i'll be able to go. I actually heard about this from "Tree Masters" and they had put a Peat burning fireplace into a tree house (yes i know awesome). So once i saw that i had to smell this product. and this incense is perfect. I only have a room, and it infuses my room with this great aroma. If you've never smelled such a thing, get purchasing. it's amazing.Now the only con that i think people have is that it IS quiet small, and if you're an avid lover of this product you tend to use it quickly. Not a bad angle from the seller, but it is well worth it. TRUST ME!Now the seller, was great. Fast shipping, and responded to extra e-mails with such promptness. Definitely ordering this again!!
