I like the thorn strippers. The green flat one with nubs in it works better than I expected. The red thorn stripper works as the ones iv’e used in the past. The green ones are a bit easier to use as they are able to pull off leaves and thorns quite easily without much force. The red stripper works better at removing thorns however if the stem is thin and not sturdy it can bend or break the stem . This set is a good combination of two equally good products with two different uses with the same outcome .

If your rose stems are curved this item doesn't work.

I wasn't able to figure out how to use the green gripper one -- I slid it down a rose stem and it tore the stem in two! The other one (standard thorn stripper) was so hard to run down the stem because it's at the wrong angle -- you'd have to have really strong wrists to pull it down since the instrument is at a 90 degree angle from the stem! Don't like and will try to return0-

These worked great - saves me so much time!
