Laundry booster and much more
Borox has been around forever, so I don't need to explain what its many uses. Although, come to think of it, I had no idea just how MUCH it could do until I purchased it. I toss some in the washing machine to brighten clothes, add to the dishwasher (and have even used it without dishwasher detergent when I ran out on occasion), sprinkle it on a light carpet before vacuuming to help brighten the wool and much, much more. It's kind of like baking soda or vinegar in its multifunction capacity. I always keep it on hand now. (I still don't know exactly what Borax IS, but I know it cleans.) Oh, one more thing. I toss it in the washing machine and run an empty cycle; it completely clears out any odor from who knows what.

On laundry it works - on carpet beetles it does not.
On laundry this stuff works! If you get one of those mysterious "grease/oil" looking stains on laundry (that wasn't on a garment to start with)... this WILL get it out! I just put some in the washer and set it to soak and the unknown stains disappear.I have also tried this on carpet beetles and it does not work but it will bleach your fabrics (which added to water using a method Bob Villa recommended).

Whitens clothes & removes oders ....Also, sprinkled outside around my house to prevent & kill those big gutter/sewer german roaches trying to get in. So far, it has kept them away and has killed them when they came in contact with the Borax! WHEW!!!

Shipped fast, packaged well contained in clear wrap so no leaks, preforms well to whiten my whites. I bought it for white baseball hats. just threw some borax in the dishwasher and hats on the top rack; worked perfectly to wash. Then air dried. White work scrubs just added Borax as a prewash. Washed as normal. Worked well to brighten em up. Hung them in the sun to air dry.

Great Product so many uses!!
So glad Amazon sells this product it is a must have keeps carpets fresh great for laundry keeps whites great and freshens carpets and keeps bugs away. Fleas and Roaches!!

Borax, a good additive to laundry
Laundry additive works by adding about a half cup to each wash load. Grandma used it, my mom used it and I use it too. But I won't buy it again on Amazon because they sell it in the local hardware stores and I don't have to wait for delivery to my home.
