SOLATEK Solar ventilation fan with battery for boat and yacht, black

Received the product and installed per manufacturers instructions. It is in a small mini van and on cool days 72 degrees it is reaching over 100 degrees in the van. I attempted on two occasions to communicate with the manufacturer via there support email account and as of the date of this posting I have yet to hear from them. Steer clear of this item and vendor.

I have windows in my she shed and have this placed near a vent where sun will hit. It works well in the sun and moves enough air for my 8'x10' space. Being solar, I don't have to worry about turning it on or off except in the winter when I keep it turned off. This fan is very quiet and low profile.

The unit failed within three weeks. I expected a higher quality unit for the price. I have requested a replacement from the seller but I’m not confident that this cheaply made unit will last very long....

It stopped working 2 days after installation....Did not send back because I had it a long time before I installed it...Do not buy this product...I purchased it to replace a cheaper one that worked for 3 yrs and then quit...I thought a more expense one would last longer...Big mistake!

Light plastic construction, and a bit noisy. Quit working for a while, then started again. Still working now, so we will see how long it lasts...
