Nice USB Hub And 120v Outlet Combo!
Been using this same Sanford 4116 for at least the past 10 years with hardly any problems. We just bought another one a couple weeks ago because these usb hubs make it really easy for us to plug in our cell phone, camera, and other usb device's cords right near the front of our pc desk. Although we don't use it a whole lot throughout the year, the 120v outlet comes in handy too since I'm a paraplegic in a wheel chair and it's not always easy trying to reach down and behinds things to get to a wall outlet. One thing that really impressed us is that it has a bit more of a heavy duty 120v power cord than what most made-in-china junk has on them. Only thing we would like the manufacture to have done on this item is to add 2 more mounting tabs whereby there is only 2 in the back of it which is plenty for holding the unit in place when plugging/unplugging your usb cables but it falls a little on the shabby side when having to push a 3-prong plug in it

Bargain Basement Garbage
I have no idea if it works. All I know is that it came in a yellowing/broken plastic package with a random $4.99 orange sticker on it, and a possibly broken part, but can't be sure because I am not taking it out of the package, (last picture, looks like a light knob next to the usb ports - the top looks intact; the bottom looks suspect...).Returning this for full refund.

rolodex hub
This was a very decent price. I bought the computer stand and then realized I could use the hub also, so I looked around until I found this one. It gives you extra USB attachments and your computer plug can be easier accessed since you plug it into the hub rather than the wall.

Junk - buy an extension cord instead
It looks good, but it is pure junk. The box is very light, and the design puts two rounded plastic tabs on the front, essentially little ice skates that the box wears so that it will slide around if you touch it even gently. For a device designed to sit on your desk so that you can plug a cord into it, this is a braindead design decision. The power cord on it is also painfully short.Buy an extension cord and duct tape the end to your desk. It will work better than this.

I recommend you use some command adhesive strips to keep this ...
I recommend you use some command adhesive strips to keep this on e edge of your desk if using it for standalone application.

no complaints
Had mine for like a month or two now. Use it at home and at shows, usually just for two midi controllers and I didn't think I'd need the extra outlet, but it's actually pretty convenient. So far, only used it seriously at two gigs and had no problems. Does what it needs to do and it's small. That outer cover is detachable.I only didn't give it 5 stars, cuz 'love' is a strong word.
