Fellow man gone mad
It is written in the most clear understanding of the issue of personal identity and communication amongst people and how difficult it is to see someone in the way they see themselves. Each person has their own reality and the main character goes crazy because he cannot stand living in so many different realities attributed to him.

Engaging meditation on identity
This short book by Pirandello is a quick read, but if you're like me the ideas will stay with you. Pirandello explores the nature of personal identity and the disconnect between self-image and the views that others have of us. It's not a great book, but it is a very good one and is definitely worth the afternoon spent reading.

Italian existentialism
An amazing exploration of the conundrum of human existence, with the author's characteristic laconic humour.
