Wheels are sturdy, construction is sound, VERY nice. Bought this for my girlfriend who's now teaching upper level undergrad courses and getting her PhD. Perfect balance between the heavy paper days from collecting assignments, but not too bulky in the digital age. Sometimes she just uses it to carry her Macbook Air, pens, a jacket, and her purse. The main compartment can be repurposed for more than files and whatever is in the picture. The file hangers even slide out so it can become a large, unhindered compartment. The storage space is great and there's a lot of areas that accordion out and collapse. Very well thought out. Works perfect for office/classroom. The only thing I'd change (and this is being picky) is when you pull the bag behind you, it's FANTASTIC. It can turn even on a dime. The moment you need to push it in front of you--happens more than you think--the telescoping rail is so smooth that you end up collapsing it a bit and coming to a stop. If you get the angle right it doesn't collapse. I thought about spraying the rails it with something to give it a bit more resistance, but it's really not that big of a deal. Maybe one day if I do, I'll post how it went/what I used, etc. If the telescoping pieces had a rubber seal that provided just a touch more grip, it'd solve the issue. Like I said, that's being REALLY picky. The bag is FANTASTIC. Get one! Review: BIG! - This is a big bag. It fits my school books, computer and just about anything else I've had a mind to carry. To make it last, I replaced the stock wheels/bearings with inline skate wheels/bearings (also from desertcart), and put rubber covers on the front feet. Bag is solidly constructed, so it should last at least a couple of semesters (it travels @ 2 miles Monday through Thursday). I love the flap style top, it makes everything very accessible. Two things: I wish it came with a rain cover and, I wish the telescope handle locked in the extended position. (It collapses with only slight downward pressure). Other than those two MINOR issues, I am very happy with SOLO's product and desertcart's price. ## Features - WHEELED CATALOG CASE - This carry-on sized case measures 13.5" x 18" x 8" and features easy-glide wheels, allowing for effortless maneuverability through airports and offices - ROLLING LAPTOP BAG - Protect your tech and keep devices secure and easily accessible wherever you go with the removable and fully padded 17.3" laptop sleeve - VERSATILE USE - Ideal for work and business travel, this rolling case offers a practical and stylish solution for carrying your daily belongings - EFFICIENT ORGANIZER - Featuring a hanging file system and a push-button telescoping handle system, this roller bag keeps your items organized and makes handling easy - SPEED BUCKLE CLOSURE - The convenient speed buckle closure ensures quick and easy access to your belongings while keeping everything securely fastened during transit ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000IJ9O8W | | Best Sellers Rank | #520 in Laptop Briefcases | | Brand Name | Solo New York | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 1,055 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00030918555149, 00601000512205 | | Handle Type | Telescopic Extendable Handle | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 18"L x 8"W x 13.5"H | | Item Part Number | B151-4U2 | | Item Type Name | Messenger Bag | | Item Weight | 2.1 kg | | Lock Type | Buckle Lock | | Manufacturer | Solo | | Manufacturer Part Number | B151-4 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 5 Year Warranty | | Material Type | Polyester | | Model Number | B151-4 | | Number Of Pockets | 3 | | Number of Handles | 2 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Sections | 5 | | Number of wheels | 2 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Laptop Compartment, TSA Lock, Telescopic Handle | | Pattern | Solid | | Shell Type | Soft | | Size | One Size | | Strap Type | Detachable | | Style Name | Morgan Rolling Hard Side Catalog and Laptop Case | | Target Audience | Unisex-Adult | | UPC | 601000512205 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | | Wheel Type | In-Line Skate | ## Images ![Solo New York Rolling Catalog Case with Wheels - Roller Laptop Bag, Wheeled Briefcase for Women & Men, Carry On Size for Travel, Litigation Bag for Lawyers, Fits 17.3" Computer - Morgan, Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81Fqcs1qksL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Regarding the removable hanging folder frame, is this for letter sized folders or legal size?** A: There is a legal size hanging folder frame. Also after adding a laptop, it has extra pockets and space. **Q: does it have a shoulder strap?** A: No it didn't have a shoulder strap. **Q: This purchase is for a Dell M-18 computer with the compatibility dimensions of 17.5 in x 13.5 in x 3 in. Will it fit?** A: I believe you may be talking a tight fit here. My husband has a 15" Dell laptop and it fit very well and I know he had room on both sides but we returned the product because he needed something different and we purchased it last year so I forget exactly how much room was left over. If you placed it on a bit of an angle you could probably get it in there. **Q: Will this fit in the overhead compartment an an airplane?** A: Yes. It can be β€œtippy” if you have a lot of weight in it. I used it for school with VERY heavy books. Love it ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid. *by M***W on February 7, 2014* Great bag! I am an airline pilot and use this case to hold all my charts and other essentials while flying. Overall this is a very good bag, however it depends on what you would use it for. Since I use this to store binders, flashlights, a headset, and a few other things, I took out the file folders. While I have never actually used the file folders, just by looking at the holder, I could tell it would not work well as a file holder. You can hang about 3-4 holders, but they don't seem to stay very well. I have been using this case almost daily for a year and it is still in great condition. The feet and wheels are still in tact and I don't see them breaking anytime soon. With that said, I do know several other pilots who have had the feet break off of their bag and have added metal plates to reinforce it. Probably my biggest complaint about this bag is the handle. It is difficult to put down. There is no button to press to `click it' in to place, so it is either fully up or fully down. The handle does not go down smoothly, you have to really push and wiggle it down to get it past the `click' lock. I usually strap this case to my suitcase with an `add-a-bag' strap, so I don't use the handle to roll it around much. The case does fit my laptop along with my binders and other items. I would not recommend using the sleeve. It is large, so if you do use it you should have a 17" laptop as anything less just slides around inside once you take it out of the case. Also, the sleeve only uses two pieces of Velcro at the top to keep it closed. It would be very easy for the laptop to slip out (and fall on the floor) while carrying it. A neoprene sleeve that fits your specific laptop would be a much better option. Overall I do like this bag. It looks nice, well constructed, and has plenty of room inside. It works great for my use, but if you need a rolling bag for hanging file folders, I would keep looking. ## Frequently Bought Together - Solo Morgan Rolling Hard Side Catalog and Laptop Case, Black - Amazon Basics 1/3-Cut Tab, Assorted Positions File Folders, Letter Size, Manila - Pack of 100 - Alpine Swiss Rolling 17" Laptop Briefcase on Wheels Attache Lawyers Case Legal Size --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/1227894-solo-new-york-rolling-catalog-case-with-wheels-roller-laptop](https://www.desertcart.be/products/1227894-solo-new-york-rolling-catalog-case-with-wheels-roller-laptop) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
