Buna gaskets are made from a food grade, 3A approved material with good compression set characteristics, but have a limited temperature range (-30°F - 200°F) which precludes their use in many applications, primarily steam. Buna does not meet USP Class VI standards. It has a lower resistivity to general cleaning chemicals than EPDM or silicone. Gaskets and Seals are non-returnable.
