TruckMeterEdge 98900, 4000800 Thermocouple

This Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) sensor thermocouple replaced the original in an older "Edge Juice with Attitude" system on my 2003 Dodge Ram Cummins. The installation was very easy because it was the same length and used the same manifold fitting and electrical connections as the original Edge unit. The hardest part was just routing the new cable and replacing ty-raps. It even included the heat shrink tubing. Everything appeared to be exactly the same. The reason I gave it 5 stars and stated "better than original" is because all the hardware appears to be stainless steel, its made in USA, not China, and it's less than 1/3rd the price of one from Edge. That's a bargain in my book!

Bought one to replace the worn out sensor used for my edge juice in a 2003 Duramax. First one I ordered worked great for about three weeks then kept maxing out the signal. I tried contacting the seller never got a reply but Amazon did me a solid and sent me a replacement within days I installed it. I don't know what was the issue with the first one but I have no complain ts about the second one.

I went with this more expensive thermocouple from Truck Meter rather than the less expensive one from Edge because it was advertised as US made where the Edge one is made in China and there are several reviews in Duramax blogs that the Edge thermos failed in just a few months to a few years. I am expecting this one last several years, 10 or more.

It works. Put it in my exhaust manifold to send info to my isspyro meter. Needed the 1/8" npt threads for the existing hole in the new three piece manifold as the old thermocouple had 1/4" threads. It's been in for a grand total of 10 minutes of operation. You can bet I'll update if this thing fails anytime soon.

My EGT probe is missing the male coupler that connects the probe to the exhaust manifold. It is shown in the product picture that I purchased. I need it to complete my install. How do I go about getting it.
