We bought the ten piece kit to be sure to have the carb adjustment tool we needed for our husqvarna two stroke engine. It paid off!We have a trimmer/edger that was hard to start and keep running from day one. Ten minutes adjusting the carburetor with one of the tools in this kit, and it runs better than new. I bought the kit to have around, but specifically for the 21-Spline tool to adjust the carb on my Poulan 3816. At first I thought the tool didn't fit, but after some poking and prodding I finally got the tool to the actual adjustment screw and the tool fit perfectly. The issue is that the hole in the case, through which you access the adjustment screw, is a few inches away from the screw head. This makes it easy to miss the screw entirely with the tool. you have to keep prodding around at different angles until you actually get the tool onto the screw.

This set was exactly what I needed. I have a chainsaw that was just not running correctly. You have to adjust the high and low speed mixture settings with it running so you can get it right. This set was a must have to get the job done. I only needed one of the tools for this job, but I have other equipment that I might need to work on in the future. For the price, this set was the right choice for me. The case is sturdy and will hold up to a garage or shed environment. The tools themselves are sturdy and will last. Good luck!

This kit is great. If you have even 1 cranky small engine, this kit will pay for itself. My lead blower would not rev up or would stall. I took out the needles with the correct tool, cleaned them & followed the manufacturers recommendation for tuning. A 10yo leaf blower works like new. If you take anything to a small engine shop, you'll pay about $50 just for them to look at it.

Had lots and lots of trouble with some equipment but once I got these I fixed up what needed to be repaired and was back in business.

The brushes and cleaning rods, together with the ten special tools are well built and just what I need for cleaning and repairing chain saws and trimmers.The price is very good and includes a very handy tool case.you cant go wrong, it will pay for its self on the first job

Two cycle engines no longer have screw driver slots, which are hard to use while the engine is running. This fits over the top and grabs it. Home Depot and others don't sell this tool. I never pay a shop to tune or overhaul an engine.
