Do I Know God?: Finding Certainty in Life's Most Important Relationship Paperback – April 14, 2009

I have been reading through many books lately that deal with the issue of assurance of salvation and whether or not you are really a Christian. I was looking for something to give to people in my life who think they are Christians and really aren't. The other books I read are great books for people who actually are Christians and just need assurance. But this is the book for those who have false assurance. But it's also good for those of us who really are saved and just love to read about the security of our salvation. It is written in such simple, yet beautiful language. I found myself crying at several spots because of the way he describes the beauty of what my Savior has done for me. But for those who are not in a relationship with the LORD, it will make it clear to them where they stand.Update: Since our son died of cancer last year, we had been looking for something to do with his life insurance money that would have an eternal impact. We decided to buy this book for everyone in our town and anyone we encounter throughout life. My husband and I spent our summer evenings walking around town going door to door to pass this out. The response has been amazing. People are coming up to me all the time telling me how much this book has changed their life. This book truly is a must read.

This is a really good book. Tullian has the right scripture's to go with the point he is making and I feel God has led him to write this book. It's making me see that I really DON'T know God. But I am learning.

Excellent review of how/why we can/should have assurance of our faith and know that we can know God, have a relationship, and live that relationship out in practical ways. Excellent teaching, inspiration, and great personal stories to drive the points home. I really enjoyed this book and another by this same author about THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

This book was written by a grandson of Billy Graham. I felt it was worth reading. It is informative and an enjoyable read, however, I feel it comes on in a strong manner but sort of fizzles out as far as keeping your attention to the end. It certainly covers very important content that needs to be taught. It answered questions for me that have plagued me from the beginning of my Christian walk.It is a small book, you can finish it quickly. Worth buying.

This book clearly addresses many issues people might have when wondering if their faith is "real". Each chapter is clear and specific and the questions at the back spark good discussion if one is doing a group study. Highly recommended.

You can truly know that you know God. I've enjoyed the first part oft the book and have been answering some of the questions in our online Bible study.

a resource to all seeking a close relationship with God. the author makes complex theology understandable and accessible. Love this book, have bought several for my friends and family!
