Noisy and let down by quality accessories
within the first few days the glass jar shattered - still waiting for a replacement. Machine noisy and unbalanced. Not convinced it will last.

Perfect with practice.
It requires some practice to get the perfect product depending on what machine you are using to make your coffee Eg Drip vs Espresso machine vs French Press. I find setting 7 works best for the pump action espresso and 5 for the filter. The collecting bowl is delicate. Replacements are too expensive. It’s a bit noisy don’t run first thing or you will wake up the neighbours.

Defective!!
Defective!!I bought 2 burr grinders from this seller , and both have been returned because they were defective. The coffee bowl catcher didn’t align to create a tight seal, leaving the grinded coffee to escape.

I wish somebody had told me all this before I made the wrong choice.
This relatively expensive grinder, though looking the part, has serious durability/customer service problems.(1) Many espresso lovers find it cannot reliably produce a grind fine enough to make a classic espresso.(2) The grinding burrs wear out fairly quickly, leaving the machine unable to perform properly.(3) Replacement burrs (and other essential spares) are no longer available from the manufacturer ...... a shocking lack of customer service. There are better grinders on the market for which essential spares are readily available.Unless you enjoy the idea of a costly kitchen gadget standing idly on your kitchen worktop, posing as an example of retro-design sculpture (which mine is now doing) ...... I would seriously consider looking at grinders from other manufacturers which will work better, last longer and come with an acceptable level of customer backup.I wish somebody had told me all this before I made the wrong choice.
