These are amazing. Yes they’re a bit small for some people, but if you make dice any larger out of bone it’s liable to crack or splinter, and the density won’t be as consistent. These are the perfect size ringing in at 1cmx1cmx1cm, and you can rattle all five easily in one hand and it makes a freakin sick bone rattling sound.I bought these for Dungeons and Dragons and can not wait to show these bad boys off. Pros-Authentic feel: They look almost spot on to ancient Roman dice I saw at the collesum and forum in a recent trip to Rome Italy.-roll nicely-astheticaly interesting- good weight/feel-seem to be well carved from solid bone.Cons- I think they're a bit overpriced-small, although that's as advertised and possibly a limitation on the size of bone they use.-you get five, for some reason that seems to be standard for dice, but I think six (three pairs) makes more sense. You can cross that off the list as my personal qualm if you like, but I think for the price an extra die would have made it more worthwhile.Overall I think these are really cool and fairly unique on Amazon. The size and price might be a deterrent to some but if you have the money, I think they're a worthwhile addition and really fun to roll.*Also a quick note, the dice aren't perfectly symmetrical but this doesn't seem to greatly affect the rolls and adds an authentic feel. However I'd be wary of quality control issues if they are in fact hand made.

I purchased these dice to be able to use as an activity for the members of my performance group at Renaissance Festivals (dicing being an appropriate activity for the characters we play). These are exactly as described. They roll well and look appropriate within the milieu. Was grateful to be able to have them shipped so quickly so I had them for the next performance weekend.

Like the other reviewers said, the dice are pretty small, however they feel amazing in your hands and make a cool clattering sound. I've only recently started collecting dice, but these are my favorite so far. My boyfriend (who has a much bigger collection) loves these too!

These dice are tiny and dense and are clearly hand made. Bigger would be better I think but these are great.

A little smaller than I thought but that’s my bad for not reading it, really cool set of dice and they have a nice handmade charm to them. I would not use them in any game play aside from counters since they are hand made and not properly weighted

Some negligible irregularities in shape and size, but that is to be expected. Great for standing out at the gaming table. They are a bit smaller than standard dice to ensure durability and prevent splintering.
