The Gentle Way: A Self-Help Guide for those who Believe in Angels

This book was easy to read and enlightening. It's a great resource to return to when a specific prayer is needed

I was introduced to Tom T. Moore on a YouTube channel I follow. I listened to him with an open mind and found what he shared compliments my prayer work. I began to incorporate his most benevolent outcomes (MBO's) and I found my prayers being answered and quickly. Tom's system is simple, quick and easy. It was work with all religious practices and with if someone is not spiritual. It's a way to tap into your heavenly guides and angels and ask for help. The key is it must be benevolent and you must be thankful. I've been asking for MBO's for a few months now, and they work. Must simple requests work quickly. I appreciate the sense of peace I have once I've requested an MBO. Read it with an open mind and try it. It will work for you.

So why did I give this book two stars? In my experience and opinion, there is no special language needed for giving thanks and praise to the angels or higher power. There is no special (English) formula to ask for help, either. I received help, and didn’t receive help, whether I used the author’s fluffy angel formula or not.Furthermore, you don’t have to use only benevolent words or phrases to get angels, spirits, guides, or people to help. I have met a few exceptional Earth angels in my lifetime, and I didn’t have to use a benevolent phrase or formula to receive assistance. I also didn’t have to give praise or supplicate in a special way. I simply asked for help and said, “Thanks!” It worked just fine—some of the time.And just because you ask in a fluffy manner doesn’t mean that you are going to receive what you asked for. (If you have to ask in a certain way and with certain words, then those angels could very easily be called service-to-self angels. I can hear it now, “I’m an angel, and I’ll only hear you and help you if you do it my way.” Can you say, “Service-to-self?)Let’s dig deeper, shall we…If you have studied metaphysics, new age, esoteric religion, or the occult, there seems to be power in letters, vowel sounds, and music (vibrations). I agree with this. In my research and experience, I have found that Hebrew comes up the most for having power in its consonants and vowel sounds. Next would be ancient Sanskrit. Some of the Hawaiian and northwestern African languages have power, too. English, however, is not even mentioned in any of the esoteric or occult sources.I’m not saying that English requests and prayers don’t have power, some of the English words do—especially those that tend to have their roots in the old languages—however, English seems to have less power compared to other languages.I also believe that intent, no matter what language, can have an influence an outcome—but not always. (On a side note, the other languages, like Hebrew, appear to have some type of mathematical code built into the creation matrix that gives it more power. I’m still researching this point, though.)Because this book is sold with English phrases, it would seem that the power behind them will not be as powerful. Believe me; I would love it if I were wrong. If I could get a most benevolent outcome for instant world peace, I’d do it in a heart beat, but you and I know that it doesn’t work that way. There are more things involved in human existence that goes way beyond our simple asking for things and receiving them—no matter what supposed angel language, word, phrase, or power you use.I know that the new agers won’t like what I said, but my experience with new agers is that they gobble up anything that says the word “angel” without question. Most new agers haven’t done the research to find out how things really work in the Universe.I’m still working on it, though, which is why I gave this book two stars. Too many fluffy angel promises without actual proof to back it up. And there is no proof that the examples given by the author worked just because of his specifically chosen words. You would have to do the same experience all over again, without using his words, and get a completely different outcome to compare results. (And please don’t say faith. Faith is not proof. Faith is a belief system without proof.)Let’s do this. May all new agers and seekers who want the truth experience a most benevolent outcome for instant knowledge and understanding of the Universe and how it works. Did it work? Did you experience instant enlightenment? No. I wish I did, though.Update on 2/14/16. I came back to add this bit of information after I wrote the original review.If you use these angel words for your personal benefit, i.e. more money, better job, great house, awesome relationship, new car, winning the lotto, etc., etc., you are still serving yourself. If it is your goal to serve yourself, use these words, or any other words, that will give you your service to self results. Just beware that using fluffy phrases can also lead you down the dark path of service to self.In closing: Thank you for the most benevolent outcome as I receive nothing but positive feedback for this review.

The Most Benevolent Request works so fast for manifesting that I’m speechless. My husband even says them every morning. I could give so many examples but the list would too long so I’ll just say my do it yourselfer hubby “fixed” my car’s interior door handle because it broke off. He had to take the inside door panel off. He installed the new handle and reattached the panel. The handle worked perfectly but now the drivers side door won’t lock. It’s one of those keyless entry cars. It would be a very expensive fix so a month has gone by. Two days after saying an MBO, as in Tom T. Moore’s books, the locking mechanism suddenly began to work. It works perfectly now! I highly recommend!

The information is very helpful but the book print is extremely light making it difficult for me to read.

I have been looking for many years for a way for gently being in touch with what can be perceived with my 5 senses and my prayers have been listen. Thank you Tom for sharing your knowledge with us.

This book will literally change your life. There's 3 Gentle Way books so far and each one tells us how we can contact our guardian angels and get the help we need when we need it. You can ask for something as simple as finding the best parking place at the store and I've never seen it fail...some one backs out just as I am ready to pull into the most desirable spot on the lot! You can also request the big stuff too and let me tell you....it works! We can say these requests and expect great results. Asking or requesting the most benevolent outcome for a given situation or problem isn't hard to do....just remember, it has to be what is the most benevolent outcome for all concerned when you make the request. Then thank your guardian angels for their help. These simple sounding requests can bring about amazing changes in a person's life. You will wonder how you ever managed once you start doing these requests. Each book gives you so many examples of how to say the request and how to word it so you get the most wonderful result. It's awesome what will happen in your life. Buy these books and your life will improve so much you can't even imagine it. I urge anyone and everyone who wants to have a better life in every aspect of living...to read these books because you will not be disappointed. It's best spent money ever! Do it today and expect great things.....it will happen.

i like this book for all the ways it gives ideas to ones growth and understanding of ones ability.

This book should be in everyone’s possession. I had a problem with my neighbour who was refusing to cough up his share for repairs to a portion of a dividing fence. I asked for an MBO and a week later, neighbour drops a note to say, ok, I am sorry, willing to pay for half. It was that easy. To this day, I am still bewildered as to how this amazing book popped up in my collection. I am ever so grateful it did. For more real life accounts, please visit the author’s online blogs.

I’m pretty good at manifesting stuff in my life, from parking spots to peace of mind, but Tom Moore’s book about simply requesting benevolent outcomes via your guardian angel, makes it such a simple process. I just have to remind myself to follow his easy steps on a daily basis and my happy life will be even happier and so will the lives of other beings in my circle of influence.It’s a great little book to keep on my smart phone’s Kindle app so I can dip into it any time for inspiration. I love learning about others’ everyday miracles too.

I saw Tom Moore on Gaia and he was talking about this book and I listened but it all sounded wayy too simple. But having started on a path of spiritually, I thought I would give it a go. I'm a real skeptic about stuff like this and it takes a lot to convince me. But I gave it a go and as long as you are open.. it works. Infact it unnerved me at first...I must email tom to let him know of my recent experience highly recommended.
