Enhances Sourdough Bread
This enhances sour flavor in sourdough bread, which I make weekly, I use homemade sourdough starter which is very sour to begin with but our favorite go-to recipe while being very delicious, does not use enough starter (1/2 cup per loaf) for our taste for sourness. I add 1/2 teaspoon of this Citric Acid (sour salt) per loaf. I noticed some of the store bought sourdough bread lists vinegar on the ingredients, which I tried, but we like this better. I was confused when I ordered it, thinking it was Ascorbic Acid, which I was going to try adding for freshness as recommended in bread recipes. The mistake turned out to be a good one! The seller also included a seasoning gift, which was nice. The packaging is good as well as the product quality.

Compared to another brand I've tried here, this product is the real deal. I rarely give 5 stars to products- this is one of them. What I like is that there were pretty much NO rocks in the bag!! This is huge when it comes to spending time prepping and making products!! My customers have not complained. I was happy with the results I got.

Using for my water treatment.
I'll give 5 stars for flavor, but I'm not using it for food prep but to backwash my water softener for the house. Recommended by my pro, and it has been great for the water. Great price, fast delivery!

Little bit goes a long way!
Don't make the mistake that I did and use this straight on in your sour flavorings. You need to cut it with a little sugar/sweetener to get the right level of sour you're looking for. The product is great and one of the more affordable options I've seen on Amazon. This 1lb package is going to last me a long long time!

Bought this to make my sour dough bread more tangy. So far so good but strong so don't use too much. Will last me a very long time.
