Tuwago CF-5D330-5 Dimmable 5-Watt (40-Watt) Candelabra LED Light Bulb, Frosted Soft White (2700K), 5-Pack

We have a 5-bulb chandelier in our dining room with candelabra bases--quite old--and it's on a conventional dimmer switch. These frosted bulbs do work, and look decent. They are a little whiter-seeming, to me, than 2700 Kelvin. The do dim reliably, but they do not dim down greatly before they switch off-- the dimming range is much less than with an incandescent bulb. However, they do dim enough to make it possible to use them at night without giving yourself a jolt, should you need to turn on the lights.Ideally I would give this 4.5 stars. 5 stars is incorrect, but 4 stars too low.Of the 5 we were using, one began to fail intermittently within weeks. Each time I tried to replace it, it would start working again so I couldn't identify it. I finally identified it and replace it. So not sure how reliable they are going to be. Except for the dimming range, though, I am generally pleased with these bulbs. The price is reasonable for LED bulbs that dim. I would suggest ordering a few extra ones.

Nice bulb the the light color from the bulb seems a bit whiter then a warm white (2700K) I would say more like white. I also picked these assuming the frosted bulb would help soften the color. Mainly happy that it does not put out that blue white color temp that a lot of similar LEDs put out and they seem slightly brighter then my previous bulbs.I find that no LEDs really put out a warm light (at least to my eyes) many seem blue or almost daylight even if they are rated around 3K.The only reason I gave it 4 star is there is a 1 second delay when they are turned on.Update: 35 days later one bulb died so I dropped rating from 4 star to 3

-Arrived on time with Amazon Prime 2 day shipping.-Color is very much like an incandescent bulb.-Not quite instant on. There is a brief delay of perhaps 1/2 second from the time you flip the switch until the bulb lights. That's not a big problem but I don't like that. I gave them a 4 star because of that.-They work with a dimmer switch but they don't dim as much as an incandescent bulb.-I don't hear buzzing or humming, but my hearing isn't that great.-We'll have to wait to see about their longevity. Ask me in ten years.

These are very nice lights. They are a little brighter than the 40 watt incandescent they replaced but I have noticed that all the LED bulbs I have purchased are brighter than the incandescent bulbs so it isn't just these. I have these in a pendant light above a table in my house and they give off great light with the dimmer switch they are hooked up to. There is a little bit of a hum but it is probably the dimmer switch. Would definitely purchase more lights like these.

Great price! Low heat (LED), uses less electricity than any other type of bulb, 5 yr. warranty, and sturdy. The light is crisp and clear, not yellow like incandescent lighting. I bought more of these bulbs after I received and used the first shipment. If you are looking for lighting that cuts down on your electric bill, is bright without being glaring, and creates no heat, this is the bulb you should consider purchasing.

This review is for the frosted version. I've purchased many LED lights from Tuwago in the past and these new candelabras are great. Better color than previous versions and other candelabra LEDs from the big box store and Amazon. These are much warmer than other brands. Dimming is flawless. No hum or buzz or flicker at low levels. This frosted white version puts out a little more than my frosted 40 watt candelabras. The bulb casing is no longer glass, but a polycarbonate, which actually makes it lighter and more durable. Overall great light bulb.

Bulbs arrived nicely packed, none of them were broken. They provide very good light, at least equivalent to our incandescent bulbs, and without the flickering of the CFL bulbs. We've only had them in a few weeks, but I hope that when they (eventually) need to be replaced, they won't break in the socket like all of the incandescent bulbs did.

These are really good led bulbs. They are very bright and they put off a lot of light. They dim well with a dimmer made for LED bulbs. There is a one second delay when you apply power to these bulbs, so they do not come on instantly. They work very well in a ceiling fan. I am very pleased with these bulbs and will buy more when I need more.
