I needed something that would hold my 8 inch tablet that I use for satnav in my van. I must say I was a bit sceptical as to how well it would work. All I can say is that I was surprised. I stuck the unit to my dash a week before we left on our holiday expecting it to release itself due to the dash being a rough texture. Well a week later after being left in the sun it was in the same place, ok it had no load on it but it was still there. We left on our road trip from the UK to Portugal a total of 1882 KM and the whole time it had an 8” Samsung tablet hanging off it and it hasn't budged. The tablet doesn't vibrate like some other dash mounts have done in the past. We have now done over 5000km with it stuck to the dash and it hasn't moved. Its been in temperatures from 35 C down to about 10 C and as you can imagine in the van it will be a lot warmer on a hot summers day, this is usual y when they fall off the screen in my experience. OK the tablet isn't attached to it all the time but its still holds fast. Would I buy another one I think I would.

Surprised. I expected this to be junk. I thought how on earth will this hold a tablet let alone at full reach and not fall off. Turns out that even on max extension it sucks well to the screen. The arm is sturdy and doesn't really move around. And with a tablet on the end the magnetic mount and its stick pads hold firm. I found that when I took the tablet off the sticky magnetic patch actually stayed on the arm but luckily there is a spare. It's a good product and does what it says. Impressed!

Bought for my 11" tablet to mount on van dashboard and its does this well. The magnet is strong and works. Its supplied with 2x mounting plates for your kit. The mount is the sticky type with added suction and so far it appears to have stuck well. the arm is strong and sturdy.

It does exactly as it says it will .. no issues.. strong suction power, never falls off the windscreen, and the magnet holds my 9" tablet that I use for navigation irmly .. no rattles or shakes.. . great bit of kit

After reading some reviews I wouldn’t think this would hold my 800g tablet but it does perfectly. I use the tablet to run apple car play and needed a strong mount. This holds my device perfectly as long as you line the magnets up correctly. Don’t get me wrong there is still the odd shake when going over speed bumps but it’s hardly noticeable and the tablet doesn’t fall off. Would highly recommend!

This will not suck/stick to every dashboard. Ideally you need one that's smooth as possible. I have a Renault Captur. 90% of the dash it will not stick to, but I found a spot where the storage compartment is. It's sticks to it really well. I struggle to remove it as sticks so well. I wouldn't worry about it holding something heavy. My only real gripe is the extended arm could do with being longer by an inch or 2, so to accommodate better placement on the dashboard, as modern SUV's have long sloped dashes

This is very expensive for what it is. The sticky is abysmal. I bought it to use in the car with a 10 inch tablet. I had an alcohol wipe that I got with another product. Cleaned the surface properly beforehand, left it to dry and stuck it in place. I left it to set for over 24 hours. By the time I came back to it, it was already hanging half way off, stuck it back down, and just tried it with a phone. When on an 100 mile trip, it must've dropped over a dozen times. Needless to say I haven't tried it with the tablet, nor would I now. It's pathetic. There are stickys out there that would do the job, like car wind deflector sticky or gopro mount sticky that prove way more often than not, reliable. So why doesn't this. Especially at this price point, and especially advertising it as a Tablet holder. Very disappointed

Initially, this holder worked great—strong magnet, solid build, and the 360° rotation is super handy for adjusting the viewing angle whether using a phone or tablet. However, after a few months, the suction cup no longer sticks to the windshield reliably, even after cleaning and trying to reapply it. The sticky gel just doesn’t seem to hold up over time, which really limits where I can mount it now. Still useful if you can find a secure flat surface for it, and the magnet does hold devices firmly—but don’t expect long-term adhesion to glass.

Excellent for what I needed. Holds my 7" display nicely!!! Sturdy!!! Good price too!!!

Davvero dopo un anno posso dire che tiene! Attaccato in viaggio tablet da 11 pollici "pesante" senza difficoltà, non si è mai mosso dalla sua calamita!!!

Eigentlich bin ich ja nicht der Typ, der Rezessionen schreibt, aber da ich von diesem Artikel so dermaßen überzeugt bin, mache ich mal ne Ausnahme. Bestellt - geliefert -schon da. Artikel ausgepackt und war von der Qualität und Verarbeitung positiv überrascht, obwohl alles aus Plastik besteht. Die Halterung ins Auto an die Windschutzscheibe gepackt, eingestellt, dann das mitgelieferte Metallplättchen(wichtig) hinten an mein Tablett geklebt und ausprobiert. Tablett hält bonbenfest, selbst bei Bodenwellen kein verschieben oder ähnliches. Habe dann spaßeshalber das Tablett auf knapp 1 Kilo beschwert und selbst dabei hat es optimal gehalten. Die Halterung hängt jetzt fast 9 Monate an der Windschutzscheibe und im Gegensatz zu meinen vorherigen Halterungen ist diese nicht ein einziges Mal abgefallen, egal welche Witterungsbedingungen herrschten. Einziger Wermutstropfen, was meine positive Bewertung in keinster weise beeinflußt ist, ich habe mein Tablet jetzt verschenkt und wollte dieses Metallplättchen entfernen und an mein neues befestigen. Schlechte Karten, da der Kleber so eine Haftkraft hat, dass das Plättchen nach dem Ablösen verbogen ist. Mein Fazit. Diese Halterung kann ich nur jedem empfehlen, der sich sowas zulegen will
