Fashion Men's Braided Belt Leather Strap for Jeans

The product sizing is incorrect. The belt is 43” from end to end, so if you’re a 40” waist you’d need a 46” belt to be able to buckle it and tuck away the end for a proper look. I bought this belt (L 38-42) for my son who wears a 40” waist in jeans, he can barely touch the ends together when he puts it around him. For comparison, I wear a 36” waist and it fit me perfectly. From a quality stand point it seams like a solid product, disappointing that I have to return it.

Seems like it will wear well. Medium fit well. Looks good.That's what I wrote for the brown belt and gave the seller 5 stars. Now I amend my review and drop the rating to 1 star. I ordered a second belt in black. It isn't made the same and it fell apart outside the return window. I contacted seller and they were no help claiming that when amazon fulfill the order the seller can't take care of a problem. So that's why a one star rating. Worst belt ever purchased and no help from the seller.

I have worn braided belts for years. I like them because they are essentially "infinitely" adjustable and they are also very stylish. I've worn mine both casually and formally, basically every day. Over the years I have had many braided belts made by brand names that were more expensive than this Tanpie belt, but every last one of them were cheaply made. They would last 6 - 9 months at best before the paper thin leather braids would rub through in the back or break and the braids separate at the spot where I buckled it the most. I have had this Tanpie braided belt for over 18 months and only now is it even beginning to show any kind of signs of wear and even that isn't all that much (one of the leather strands has broken on the backside of the belt where I buckle it the most, but the belt's integrity has not been affected). None of the leather has worn through or shown any signs of abrasion. It keeps its shape very well and the dye/finish hasn't faded or been rubbed away. It still looks just like the day that I got it in terms of color. This Tanpie belt is a very well made belt and priced very reasonably. If you are tired of having your braided belts wear out quickly, this is the one to get.

I prefer woven style belts such as this one from Tanpie and in the past, I have always bought my belts from local retailers, but no longer! This belt is the best belt I have ever owned! The last time I bought a similar belt at a local store, it cost $30, was a well-known U.S. brand, and did not last nearly as long as the first Tanpie I bought from Amazon. Woven belts tend to wear-out rather quickly from friction at the buckle, so durability is very important! Not only is the belt very good looking, but the craftsmanship, durability and value are excellent! And the price ($18.99) was the same as the first one I bought!I highly recommend this belt, and would not hesitate to buy any other from Tanpie!

The belt length was almost 5 inches past the buckle when dressed. The shortest is a Medium 32-38, too long for a 33 inch waist. The belt is sturdy but a bit too firm. Nicely packaged and a good price. I bought a brown and was going to get a black but won't due to the sizing issue. If your a 36-38 inch waist you may want to try this belt.

Nicely very well made belt! It is leather, very adjustable, and nice looking. No issues with the "finish" since I have been wearing it-Over a month at least. It does not stretch while wearing like some of the braided belts that allow slippage. I would definitely recommend this belt.

I really appreciated the look of this belt. Especially the flexibility of changing it to almost any size. The belt lasted for 10 months. Not quite as long as some other belts, but I feel it was nicer than Walmart belts. The manufacturer could improve their belt by simply stitching only half as many stitches along that line that I circled in the photo. There are a couple other complaints of the exact same thing, although those customers had a rip out much sooner. If I buy another one and it last 10 months I will still be happy.5 stars for looks1 star for wearability

Nice quality but they are clearly not able or willing to manufacture a small size from 32-34 or 36 resulting in a too long belt. Too much left over length that ruins the look of the belt. Hope it holds up to wear, only time will tell. Keeping it since my husband wears his shirts out or I would have definitely returned them.
