Tacky The Penguin

Super cute book about Tacky the penguin. It teaches that differences should be valued and accepted instead of ridiculed. The first book in a series that the students in my class all love to read again and again and again. Quality book with a positive message.

My family loved this book growing up. So when it came time this year to choose books I give to my nephew's every year and this popped up I had to get it! Such a funny little story with a sweet morel! Perfect for my silly little 6 year old nephew! The book came in perfect condition and in great time!

I bought this book to help my struggling to read 7 year old grandson, it was one recommended for people with Dyslexia. Though it seemed too simple for him he loved it and thought the illustrations were great. I enjoyed it so did he, all is good.

Our daughter had this book as a child. I don’t know what happened to it, be we needed a copy for the grandkids!! Tacky is an absolute hoot!!

We just received this as part of our monthly Amazon Kids Book Box. My 3.5yr old LOVES it! I make sure to do different voices especially for when Tacky is singing horribly and he just laughs and tries to sing just as bad as Tacky. Fun book to read :)

We first discovered Tacky on my 5 year old’s Kindle. We loved him (and Goodly, Lovely, Neatly, Angel, and Perfect) so much that we bought this to have as a book in our library. It’s a favorite for both our 5 year old and our 3 year old.I have a feeling we will own the entire Tacky collection soon.

I love the Tacky books. All of them have been so good but there is nothing like the first one.

My granddaughters loved the story. The 5 yr old sings Tacky’s song to the fish in their aquarium! Will be buying more books of Tacky’s adventures. I Liked the lesson of being a bit different is okay. Fun book

This brought back so many wonderful memories of my first grade teacher reading this book to us in class. It was a favourite of hers and I couldn’t help but smile while I thought of her, as I read it. My teacher was a lot like Tacky, in all the best ways.

Very cute book. Ordered multiple copies. One was not properly cut - had a protruding page so the book was not usable as a gift. The books were delivered quickly, in time for the reading group. Thank you.

ich habe jahrelang versucht, dieses buch zu bekommen, wußte aber seinen titel nicht mehr. in der amazon.com-werbung für den kindle fire kids edition hab ich es entdeckt und wenigstens die englische version runtergeladen. manche teile daraus sind auch mehr als 20 jahre nach dem ersten vorlesen für meine kinder auf deutsch noch beliebte zitate.
