Mevis Line Egg Slicer for Hard Boiled Eggs and Egg Timer for Boiling Eggs Set, (Red Color)

I meeded this and was happy to get an added bonus. Its an acrylic egg to put in pan when boiling eggs. It has red insideir. When yhe eggs are cooked the red will have dissapeared. Its a cute, unique timer to boil eggs. Id love to be able to buy it separately as a gift

Hello, I bought the 2 productions together. First the Egg timer I love. I make soft boiled eggs every morning. One day I also wanted to make some hard boiled eggs for Tuna Salad. I was able to make the soft and hard boiled at the same time. I cannot do that with my Dash Egg Cooker. You are able to take the soft eggs out when they are done and leave the rest in while they cook to hard. For my soft eggs, I love them right between the soft/medium setting on the timer.The egg slicer, I have not used as much and it is nice, but it seems every time I close it to slice through an egg, when I try to bring it back up, the metal slicer piece falls out of the grove it is set in. So I am constantly putting it back in it's place. I know you want to be able to remove it for easy cleaning, but I think it needs to be set just a little more so it stays in place while using it.

10/28/19 - Update changed form 1 to 4 stars - Customer service contacted me and sent a replacement, seems to be working well, perhaps the first one was just a fluke, will continue using and update if there is a change, changed rating to 4 stars.Purchased this a replacement for our old slicer that finally broke. Chose this one because of the good reviews and in the description it said it could slice "Strawberries, Boiled Potatoes Or Mozzarella Balls". Boiled potatoes? Must be well made! Nope... It almost made it through one pint of strawberries before failing. Everything was good for the first 8 or 9 berries. Then the wire portion loosened and and it was unusable. We ended up manually slicing the other 4 pints. Completely disappointed, I suppose I may have received an outlier, but reading through the one star reviews, it looks like this issue has happened to quite a few customers.

I love eating slices of boiled eggs with smoked salmon on toast! It is one one of my favorite foods to eat for breakfast. I was hopeless slicing the boiled eggs with a knife and the results were always irregular and messy. All changed when i saw the Mevis Line egg slicer listed on Amazon. I selected it for the bright color red, good functional design and fair price! My order came promptly! It is a fantastic product! It slices eggs thinly with ease! Cleaning is easy ! I am delighted! I love the timer! Works like a charm! My daughter loves boiled eggs, and it is an easy way for her to learn. The slicer broke after falling off the counter once. purchase is worth it for the timer though! The timer is super easy to clean, and easy to use.

We had to send the first purchase back because the egg timer was chipped, on the second order the egg timer had a chip but much smaller. I didn't want to return it so I just kept it.

I ordered and received this product a few weeks ago. When it arrived, one of the four plastic retaining clips was broken. It still worked fine, but I was afraid it would only be a matter of time before it was unusable. It was inexpensive, and I certainly was not going to return it. Then I got an email from the company asking about my experience. I emailed back explaining it arrived broken, but was still functional. I also made it clear that I was not asking them to do anything, just wanted to let them know. The next day I received an email from the company apologizing for the defective product, and providing a code to order another one for 99% off the price. It arrived two days later, and was perfect. Got to love great customer service!!

I got the slicer and timer as a package deal. I like the fact that the metal part of the slicer will pop out for easy cleaning. I have only sliced a few dozen eggs so far but it remains in great condition. The timer now that is a whole new ball game. It cuts more than 5 minutes off my previous cooking time and makes a perfect hard boiled egg. That timer was worth the price of the whole package. I thought green egg yolks was just normal. With this timer my yolks are perfectly yellow everytime.

The wire basket is very weak! It pops out - the wires stretch after not too many uses - it's poorly constructed. It worked great for a while, but ended up in the recycling bin. My partner bought the OXO Good Grip Egg Slicer. Much, much better!

This product is really slick---attractive, well designed and made, easy to operate, and very easy to clean. It arrived on time and worked just as described. And the "egg timer" is really unique and works well too. Would definitely buy again for myself or for a gift.

I eat eggs often so this is the perfect combo. Takes guesswork in chopping and water boiling. Don't forget to add salt to get the shell off easier. Cheers!

It slices eggs great, if the metal wire doesn't get in the way. Metal wire doesn't snap in place and falls down.

Works great and is larger than I expected. Husband & I love this thing! Haven't tried the egg timer yet but the slicer is worth the price.
