So I normally do not write product reviews but had to for this one. I originally ordered this product to replace my type b cartridge on my intex above ground filter. When I received my first cartridge from Amazon, something did not seem right about it, the package looked revealed and the filter media was pulling off, the sealing gaskets appeared warped and alittle torn and the top was comming apart. I wasn't sure this was normal so I contacted the seller who was the manufacturer. I contacted them directly via Amazon email and they called me almost within minutes of sending the email. I spoke with one of the companies owners, and I sent him pictures. He was beyond surprised of the way I received the product and assured me that it was not the way it should have been and would take care of it through not only amazon but would take care of me directly. Within days, I had anew filter at my front door with everything new and some of the parts even appeared to be better then the first. I before instaing saw an installing video on their website and followed their instructions. Easy install and the filter is working great. Great flow out of my filter and alot of smaller particles get trapped in the media. The larger gets stuck in the filter and doesn't blow out. So when its time to clean the media I just take out thr larger parts. Very easy to clean and will save me alot of money. Awsome company and awsome product. Definitely recommend.

My husband ordered this filter after seeing reviews on it. It worked great was easily rinsed off each week and saved us lots of money on those disposable filters. Will continue using it again next summer

I have been ignorantly buying the "disposable" type of filters since last year when we purchased the pool. I wish someone had told me about this type of filter or I had researched it first. It would have saved me hundreds of dollars.We have an above ground pool that seems to be dirty more often than not, and the filters we were previously using would fill up so fast, we would rinse them out and reuse them as much as possible but seemed as though we were going through about 3 a week.With this orca filter, it catches so much more dirt. The way it is set up, it catches the smaller stuff as well as the larger stuff. It comes with 3 spacers, so you can make sure it fits the same as your regular filter, it comes with 5 bands which hold the filter on. We use 2 spacers on the bottom and 1 on the top.We use 2 of the 5 bands, and are keeping the other 3 as backups. Just in case.I have rinsed the filter and it is so simple to clean.As of now, I highly recommend this orca filter to anyone who is in the market.

Are you tired of spending $$$ on pool filters?! Well this reusable filter will help you SAVE $$$!!! I have an above ground Summer Waves metal frame (15ft diameter / 4ft tall) pool that we purchased in May/2020. My filter pump uses the A/C filters. Back In April/2021 I began to prepare for setting the pool back up, but was dreading finding filters; because of COVID in 2020, filters became a hot commodity (and still were in short supply). So I started researching for reusable filters. After a few hours looking around online and reading a lot of reviews, I finally settled on the "Orca Reusable Pool Filter" AND the "Impresa Products 20-Pack of Pool Skimmer Socks".Here's the thing, the Ocra Pool filter on it's own will not work well in replacing those paper filters from your chain big box store (that is why this does not get a 5 Star rating); because the grit and grime will go through the mesh screen on the filter. It does not get the small algae like particles. BUT if you buy the pool socks as well, and put them over the filter then BAM!!! You now have a product that will do the job of those throwaway filters and SAVE you money!!! The pool socks are washable/reusable. I set the pool up on 5/25/2021 (as I write it is 6/25/2021). I have used 3 pool socks since, I change the sock daily, sometimes twice depending on how much my kids and the neighborhood kids have been in it for the day. And this works amazing!! The Ocra filter is a hard plastic with a rubber like mesh screen, so it's going to hold up forever. The socks I rinse out with hot water and air dry. They're not white anymore, but if they soak in some bleach water that'll take care of it. The socks are starting to get a little worn, but the great thing about them is I got a pack of 20 socks for $13!! That is a major difference over the 3 pack filters for $12!! At the rate I'm going, it may be 5 years before I need more socks. Since the pool is only open during the summer. I hardly write reviews for products I buy, but this was one I felt I needed to share, because it was the reviews that helped me put this together.

Best pool filter on the market

Love this for the pressure it gives the pool pump and that makes the skimmer work much better, but silt and fine dirt is not filtered. I have to vaccine 2-3 times a day to keep water clear. It’s easy to clean though. I use the paper filters every 3 days or so to get the silt out then I put this one back in. I tried putting a skimmer sock in the surface skimmer and that helped catch silt, but still this could use an additional few layers of paper filter like material wrapped around it.
