Uniquely awesome take on a classic fairytale!
Forever Moore: A Gay Fairy Tale by Christina Lee and Riley Hart is a loosely based retelling of the classic fairytale Snow White. Can we talk about this cover for a minute please? How freaking gorgeous!!! This is one book I definitely need on my shelf, I can't even handle how beautiful it is.But not only am I a cover lover when it comes to this book, I am a story lover too! While the bones of the story are similar to the fairytale it's based on, Ms. Lee and Ms. Hart brought a fresh, new take to the classic tale, by flipping the script and turning it into a gay love story between "Snow White" and the Huntsman, with a wicked stepfather out to cause harm. I love how these authors really created their own world. There are nods to the classic story that you'll recognize, but this was truly a unique experience. With a wonderful slow burn romance between Ansil, the sweet, innocent "Snow White", and Orien, the gruff, older Huntsman, not to mention the entertaining seven "dwarfs", Forever Moore left me in a big pile of emotions when I finished reading.

Hi Ho, Hi Ho
I cannot believe I got through this one without tossing my Kindle across the room in a fit of laughter. Here is a brilliantly conceived take-off on a beloved fairy tale with a smug twist every step along the way.It would pain me to relate how Little Lord Ansil and Huntsman Orien go from kidnapped and kidnapper to lover and lover--so I won't do it. The pain would come from my sides where my chuckling would get so frequent that I would have to stop and take a breath.However. I digress. This is a beautifully crafted, neatly written, and when the sheets are pulled back, supremely hot love story which will keep you guessing who is supposed to be whom when it comes to deciphering the real fairly tale behind this giddy exercise. You will fall prey to the longings of both Ansil and Orien, and delight in all the twists and turns that come about in the last part of the book.Get it, grab your favorite cordial or brandy, and have a hoot.

Retelling of Snow White
There were a few things that bothered me about the story. Ansil (Snow Whitel is the only heir to a Dukedom but the it feels like author has no idea what a Duke is or what their place in society would be. The description is more like the mayor of a small village. It kept throwing me out of the story. The second issue I had it the characters use overly formal and stilted dialog. I think the author was going for the fairy tale feel here, but it made the story feel forced to me. The words just didn't seem to flow smoothly. That all said, it is not a terrible story. There are some nice adaptations of the classic fairy tale. Themes of forbidden love and a gay awakening story.

Cute, Romantic Retelling :)
The headline pretty much sums it up, I loved this book and if the beautiful artwork doesn't pull you in then the story definitely will. I like the POV's of the two main characters, Ansil and Orien, their connection was built very nicely and I found myself loving them together. I finished it probably within two days of receiving it and find myself rereading it constantly. I don't want to give any spoilers to the story but it does do a nice spin on Snow White and the Huntsman and sometimes it even had a Beauty and the Beast feel to it. I will say this is a cute read if you're into fairy tale retellings and hot men falling in love and getting dirty ;) Would totally reccomend and will definitely be buying more works from these authors and the artist of the cover!

A wonderful fairytale!
I admit I’m a sap when it comes to romance & I love my mm romance stories. What these two have done with Ever After & now this new fairytale, is pure romantic magic! I LOVED this book! I couldn’t put it down once I started! All the characters were well written & you loved each one. Especially the MCs! While it had pieces in common with Snow White, these authors made it their own & even if you know the story of Snow White, you still didn’t know exactly how this would play out. I loved every second of it & fell madly in love with the Little Lord & his Huntsman!!! I truly hope these two authors decide to create more gay fairy tales as they are treasures I will enjoy reading for years to come!

Fantastic Fairytale!
Another amazing fairytale in this series. Orien and Ansil have a fantastic story. I really enjoyed every aspect of it. These two are so different in almost every way, yet there was a strong connection from the start. The entire plot against Ansil, and how he came to be in Orien's home, had me hooked from the start. I loved the way things built slowly between them. They were so hesitant to admit to their attraction, because of what society and others would think about it. It makes my heart ache that people have to deal with this kind of prejudice when it comes to love. These kinds of stories fill my heart with joy. I really loved every part of this love story.

A lil sugar cube
I think my most favorite thing was the old fashioned way in which "intimacy" was described.I was a little wary, not sure if I would like this, but it was quite entertaining and cute. It's a comfort, feel-good, low angst, self discovery read. I was so involved in the relationship development of the main characters I almost forgot it was inspired by Snow White, until the apple moment, of course...Really liked it. I'm even considering giving the first book of the series a try. After all, I think I like all the kissing as much as the authors.

Orien and Ansil
3.75A MM twist on snowhite and the huntsman. I liked it but had one minor gripe with the use of "Little Lord" being used as a term of endearment. Sure it is not so bad but when it is used in the bedroom, during s3x, you have to admit it is weird and I would think quite the boner killer 🤷🏽♀️ Other than that, I enjoyed the story.

Enjoyable read.
Good take on a classic story - enough angst, passion, well developed characters and plot to appeal to everyone. This book delivers exactly what you would expect from a Lee/Hart story. An interesting array of characters, plenty of problems, interesting relationships and a HEA. The story was well written and created a vivid picture of the environment in which Ansil finds himself. I liked the authors' take on the 7 dwarves, each character likeable and interesting in their own way, they were a good addition to the story. I also thought that generally, the character development in the story was very well done.It was a perfectly paced love conquers all story. So many mm romances, rush things. The main characters go from strangers, to fanatically devout lovers, within an eye rolling amount time, sometimes within a few pages. It was refreshing to see the story take it slow. I enjoyed that the authors gave Ansil and Orien a chance to discover the other. The realisation of their attraction and the slow burn of the resulting relationship, fit well with the essence of the story.I have to say that it did take me a while to get into the story, but once I did, I thoroughly enjoyed it and became invested in the MCs relationship. Good read.

Aspec Rep Is The Only Thing Saving This For Me
A warning for readers. This book does have kidnapping and captivity in chains. All sex is consensual. It may affect some survivors and I found no warnings in the blurb or forward.Forever Moore is a retelling of Snow White and the Huntsman. Snow White is gender-bent to become Ansil. The Huntsman is Orien, Orien lives with seven people who make up is adoptive family. It is easy to see why so many DNF. Forever Moore is so different from Ever After. The core fairy tale elements are of course the same but there are some off-putting elements. Additionally, the pacing is off at times and at some points things don't seem to quite line up. It requires you to stop thinking, or focus on a single element. Some issues that need to be addressed. While Ever After's Merrick and Cassius only have a power disparity, Forever Moore has a whole lot of issues. Power disparity, age disparity (15 years not all that bad), captivity, homophobia. The leading men are... well something. The analogy used for them in the book is Achilles and Patroclus, I really liked that. Orien frustrated me and I'm not entirely sure why. But the authors have as explicitly as possible coded him as aspec. For that alone, he's a likeable character. Ansil was sweet in a way. But I guess that's what you expect from Snow White. His innocence intrigued me. made me smile. The internalised homophobia felt becoming for the setting. I didn't expect his interests. The casts women of which there are 4 are fantastic. Fierce, feisty and strong despite the trauma they have survived. That is something I appreciated. It was a great deal of fun for me to figure out who the "seven dwarves" were. They were well managed. They aren't in your face, their traits feel natural, human. The authors do make it clear eventually. The ages may be a little wonky. The ages and roles don't always match up. But I'm choosing to head-canon the Duchess as having a boy toy, it sorts out the biggest issue. It's a struggle for me to rate this one. On one hand, we have questionable warnings and acts between inexperienced partners (some of which can be explained by Snow White and the Huntsman). On the other, we have wonderful women and the balls it takes to write an aspec character in a romance novel, a gay romance novel at that. Without the aspec this is a 3. But my love and need or decent aspec representation bumps it up. It's more like a 3.5.

Sweet retelling of Snow White
“I did not believe love was in my future before you, my huntsman. But we have it now.”I love a fairy tale retelling especially outside of the traditions of fairytales.Ansil was absolutely adorable. He is so sweet and has a heart of gold.Orien, gruff and angry but loyal to the core, I loved the soft side that Ansil brought out in him.“It was not Ansil’s body he had connected with. It was his soul, and that soul somehow made Orien long for him physically.”I also loved connecting the little things between this and the original fairy tale. Although I probably missed many because unless you spell it out for me I'll probably miss it because I'm clueless lol!I loved the self made family feel. I always adore that theme in my books.A slow exploration of each other and their love.I do have to mention though there's a scene that is leading up to a first kiss, it's supposed to be anger that explodes into passion and I get it, I love those kind of scenes but only when they are done right. This however, was manufactured dramatics but, without the drama?! Let me explain, it went a little like this:"Tell him the truth.""Not yet!""HOW DARE YOU! Stay away from me" *Stomps off* obviously I'm paraphrasing but I was CONFUSED. Maybe I've missed something but yeah it was kinda ridiculous. Then there was sooo much gasping. It at least felt like that to me.Despite those little niggles, I enjoyed it. It was lovely full of friendship, love and new beginnings and I have to mention Ansil's mother, she's awesome.
