Design flaw
Seems to me the design is flawed. The metal piece on the back of the case is closer to the bottom. The weight of the iPhone XS Max is too heavy to get a good hold from the magnet in this position. I am having to mount my phone upside down in order for it to stay attached. The metal piece should be closer to the top. Not the bottom.

Favorite case so far!
Great case, works with the magnetic stand I already had, not sure how it works with wireless charging. It’s not bulky can fit in my back pocket, just enough grip so it doesn’t slip but not a rubbery feeling.

Very attractive! Very sturdy! Easy to find buttons by touch
I bought this because I have magnetic mounts in my cars, by my bedside, in my kitchen, and one that clamps onto the back of an airline seat. You can find many cases on Amazon that are dual-layer but there is no guarantee that you can easily mount the metal plate between the two layers. The first dual-layer case that I purchased didn't allow you to separate the layers without re-gluing it back together. The next one let you snap the layers apart and back together but the kickstand interfered with center-mounting the metal plate.So, when I found this one that even comes with a metal plate, I thought I'd give it a try. I couldn't be more pleasantly surprised. The triangle texture on the back is attractive, hides fingerprints, and adds to the grip. The hard shell actually covers the corners on this one. Many dual layer cases have softer rubber on the corners. Also, the buttons are separate pieces of chromed metal or plastic which makes them easy to find by touch, preserves the click feel of the native buttons, and gives the case an upscale look.

Product paint has faded, does not work with some qi chargers
After about a 1.5 years of use, the product has faded revealing white undercoating. The chrome on the buttons has also faded. In addition, the product does not deliver on the promise to work with qi chargers even after removing the magnetic plate within the case. There is no product support by Molzar. Overall I am disappointed with the durability and overall performance of this case.
