Great, but not as great as I was expecting
So I have an old Creative Zen Mosaic that still works fine, but I wanted something a little newer and snazzier, specifically with bluetooth to use in my car (cause why would I waste data by using my phone?). Thus began the long, long search through Amazon. After about 7 months of looking, I narrowed it down to this player and was super excited to try it out. Loved the black and blue look, and it had decent reviews. When I got it and took it out of the package, it is weighty. That, for me, is both a good and bad thing. Weight means its probably higher quality than I expected, but it also means I'm more likely to drop it - especially since its quite sleek. But that wasn't anything I would have knocked off for. It wasn't really until I turned it on that I started not liking it..Again, I've had mp3 players for a long, long time. And I will continue to have them as long as they are made because I don't understand wasting my data to listen to music I already have. So, my 3 stars is really because this player doesn't have features that I've come to love about my last mp3 (which is from 2008, mine you!)First thing I noticed and completely hate is that when you go to "All Songs" to see your list, it lists the FILE NAME, not the Title. So it could say "01 Track01 2016.mp3" rather than the title of the track. THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. And if the Track title is long, it just says "01 Trac...mp3" so you can't even see the whole title. The second thing I didn't like was that you cannot browse the songs by letter (like you cannot select A, B, C, etc to go to those in the list). This may have been a Zen specific feature but I really came to rely on that. The only thing that would come close to that on this player is to create a playlist for each letter, but that seems like such a headache and would have to be updated with every new song, not to mention it would only work for one specific item (Title, Album, Artist, etc).It has long delay when you press buttons. My decade old player responds faster!I also don't like the screen time out because you have to press the power button to get it to come back on. That will just wear that button down faster. I did find that you can disable this feature, however my old player would dim after so long which I much preferred. It seems like the screen that shows what song you are listening to doesn't always show all relevant info. I am very meticulous with my music collection, and have the Title, Artist and Album on as many of the files as I can (independent musicians don't always create albums, so I can't always add that one) but I don't see all that on tracks that I know are filled it. I also don't like that it doesn't show all of it at once, rather it scrolls through it (meaning, you see the title, it scrolls up and disappears, being replaced by the Artist, then again with Album). If you go into the menus, mess around with some stuff but then stop, it doesn't just go back to show you what song you are listening to.There are things I really like though, the touch buttons being top of that list. The one thing I really, really hate about my Mosaic is how loud the buttons are. I have noise cancelling headphones, but I'm always worried the button noise might irritate the people around me.I also like that if your file doesn't have the album photo, it shows a sound wave instead of blank album cover or something. The fact that it is expandable is awesome, so it makes adding more music affordable. SD cards are way cheaper than the higher storage mp3 players.Lastly, being able to delete a song right off the player without having to plug it into the computer is super handy for keeping your library cleaned up as tastes change.I'm going to give it a go, but even though it has bluetooth (which other reviewers have said isn't great and doesn't stick) I just feel like I've gotten a decade newer but worse product. And I hate it because I don't feel like its even because the product itself is bad, its just lacking a lot of features a really old one does have. And the one advantage it might have is not really worth what I'm losing. If this is your first MP3 Player, this will be FANTASTIC! But if you are coming off another brand (particularly if you've used the brand solely but they've just stopped producing) this is not going to be a good fit. But, then again, not much choice there.

User Friendly
I just skimmed the instructions, which were quite involved and obviously a translation from another language but I had no trouble doing what I wanted to do with the product. One thing I have to have is a sleep timer, which this has, because I only use this at night to fall asleep. I also like the fact that after about 30 seconds it stops flashing colored lights and you can hold it without accidentally pressing something you don't want to press.I wasn't crazy about the earbuds that came with it. They weren't padded and were quite uncomfortable not to mention that the sound is very harsh.

changing from 5 stars to 2 stars after 3.5 months
first review upon arriving-as described, good value for the $...only drawback...only comes with armband, cant wear armband at work, need clip case and they don't make one.second review after 3.5 months- the headphone port has become worn and now the sound can only be gotten in both ears by wiggling headphone jack then not moving. :>( i did buy new headphones and same thing. i really love this mp3 player otherwise. it feels solid and for the price was 5 stars when headphone jack worked properly. sigh...only two stars now tho due to this issue...

Good, for the price.
I like this device for the price, but I don't love it. Looks nice, good solid feel with some drawbacks. Playlists don't work. I can copy over a play list that works on every other mp3 device and it doesn't work on this. The songs show up in the list, but once selected the device will fault back to the full song list. You can work around this by setting up a playlist and playing it through the Folder option. The headphone jack will slightly eject 90% of the audio cables used in it. I have to rubber band them in so that it doesn't drop a channel. These are the same cables that function fine everywhere else. I also wish the device would automatically connect to your Bluetooth device. I need to connect each session. It'd also be good to be unable to hide functions i won't use - like recording. It's a pain to scroll through them when going from BT to Music or Folder. That said, it serves the purpose for which I bought it. An inexpensive BT music player. A few little improvements would make it much better.

Be careful
It only lasted for 1 month. All of a sudden it stopped responding. White screen of death you could call it. Couldn’t get to any menus. Took many tries to turn on. Very disappointed AND also very disappointed that they are suddenly “out of stock”.

Good features but bluetooth not working
Perfect for my needs although the bluetooth did not work. Paired with 3 different headphones. The description said BOTH 4.1 and 4.2 bluetooth, which seemed odd. Returning it for this issue.
